(Hyunjin's room)

"Yeji you had one job and this is the 3rd time you've failed at it " hyunjin barked at the person on the other side of the line
"If you're so mad then do it yourself hyunjin " yeji spat back
"I would've killed him myself if he wasn't so
damn strong " hyunjin replied
"You're the reason I failed this time . Why did you jump in and save him ? You should've just let him blow into peices " yeji argued
"I was outside the building and if I didn't save him back then the suspicion would've been on me Sherlock " hyunjin Hissed
"Fine the next time I'll make sure he dies " yeji assured
"You better do I want him dead before mom's birthday" hyunjin replied
"Yeah" yeji replied and hung up the phone and after a few seconds felix entered hyunjin's room without knocking or warning him
"Your highness what the hell " hyunjin screeched
"What ? Never mind that how are you ?" Felix asked
"I'm fine " hyunjin replied "Why did you leave like that back then" he asked
"I - um needed to talk to minho hyung " Felix replied
"And how long are you gonna stand on the door ? Come inside my prince " hyunjin exclaimed
"Yeah" Felix replied and walked inside
"What's that ?" He asked pointing towards the paintings kept in a corner
"My paintings " hyunjin replied
"You paint ?" Felix asked
"Yes " hyunjin replied
Felix walked towards the paintings and observed them
"You're really good" he complimented
"Thankyou your highness " hyunjin replied
Felix walked upto hyunjin and sat infront of him on the bed
"I'm sorry hyunjin " Felix muttered
"For what ?" Hyunjin asked
"Just i- just because " Felix stammered out
"If you're talking about the explosion then it's fine it's my job but if you're talking about my mother then you should know that I would never forgive you " hyunjin breathed out
"I know I'm not asking you to forgive me I just want you to know I'm sorry and I- I didn't want it to happen it was a mistake " Felix replied
"Yeah thankyou " hyunjin replied

Hyunjin didn't want to be emotional especially not infront of felix but he missed his mother and he couldn't stop the tears from pooling in his eyes
"I miss Jendukie too " Felix muttered
"Jendukie ?" Hyunjin questioned
"Jennie noona I used to call her jendukie when I was little " Felix answered and hyunjin couldn't control his tears anymore he burst out crying but he wasn't expecting the prince to actually comfort him so he was completely dumbfounded when felix hugged him and let him cry on his shoulder and no matter how much hyunjin hated him and the fact that he wanted Felix dead he still found comfort In felix's hug , he still found it comforting when gently rubbed his back,  when he slid his hands through his hair and when he told him it was alright .
Felix finally let go when hyunjin calmed down
"You'll sleep here today " Felix said
"What about you ?" Hyunjin asked
"Well you're Injured so you won't be able to protect me anyway so just sleep here and I'll sleep in my room " Felix replied
"Oh ok and thankyou your highness " hyunjin mumbled
"It's fine " Felix replied and left the room

Right after Felix left the room hyunjin called yeji

"What do you want hyunjin " yeji asked
"I want Felix dead withing the next 7 days so you better do something or I ain't giving you your full payment " hyunjin snarled
"Fine can you like take him out of the palace somehow " yeji asked
"There's a masquerade ball coming up Day after tomorrow sneak in and kill him " hyunjin suggested
"How the fuck do you expect me to sneak in with all the security dumbass " yeji Hissed
"Come as my date at the ball " hyunjin replied
"Are you sure ?" Yeji asked
"Yes I'm sure " hyunjin replied
"Fine " yeji replied and hung up

After a few minutes minho came Into hyunjin's room
"Who were you talking too huh?" He asked playfully
"My girlfriend " hyunjin lied
"Hold tf up you have a girlfriend?" Minho asked
"Yea-ah ?" Hyunjin replied
"Wow now that's news " minho smirked
"Can you like not make that face " hyunjin groaned
"Anyway why don't you invite her to the ball as your date " minho suggested
"Sure I'll tell her " hyunjin replied and mentally praised himself
"What does she do?" Minho asked
"She's a dancer " hyunjin replied
"Wow that's great , tell her to come meet me before the ball sometime " he exclaimed
"Oh? Ok" hyunjin replied
