Chapter 8

Recap : "I'm in love with you, Choi Beomgyu!"

THIRD PERSON'S POV:
Beomgyu was in utter disbelief after the sudden confession by Shin Ryujin. He blinked his eyes twice in shock while Ryujin who just confessed her love walked away leaving the other characters shocked too. Kai and Taehyun approached Beomgyu and started looking at Ryujin leaving along with Beomgyu.

Meanwhile Chaeryeong ran after Ryujin who didn't go unnoticed by Taehyun putting a soft smile on his lips.

"Shin Ryujin!!"
Chaeryeong yelled at Ryujin who was just walking somewhere where her steps were taking her to.

Ryujin just stopped and turned around wearing a deadly stare but it didn't affect Chaeryeong a bit. Instead, she started walking with Ryujin.

"Whatever I did is only for the betterment of us."
Ryujin said suddenly making Chaeryeong look confused.

"For our betterment?"
She repeated as Ryujin took a deep breath.

"Those three detectives are after the Black Claw, you know what that even means?"
Ryujin said with frustration leaving Chaeryeong in surprise.

"How do they know that Black Claw is here?"
Chaeryeong asked. She didn't mention that Ryujin herself was Black Claw as she did not want to risk such an important information.

"No clue."
Ryujin said and Chaeryeong started pondering about something.

"Are you trying to fool him? So that he doesn't ever suspects you?"
Chaeryeong whispered to which Ryujin just turned her head away and continued walking.

"Aww, poor him!"
Chaeryeong said sarcastically to which Ryujin stayed silent.

"No but seriously, you should not play with his feelings atleast."
Chaeryeong said after recalling Beomgyu's concern for Minjeong. Chaeryeong was so lost in her thoughts that she did not look in front and bumped into Ryujin who stopped walking. Chaeryeong looked at Ryujin in surprise who had no expressions.

"Do you think that I'm this selfish? I only play fair."
Ryujin said and walked back to the Choi mansion leaving Chaeryeong dumbfounded who was watching her walk away.

"What did it mean?"
Chaeryeong wondered and saw Ryujin walk away.

While Ryujin was walking, she felt a weird sound coming from the lawn as her steps followed the sound.

Soon, she started seeing a person that seemed to be sitting on a swing. As Ryujin took further steps, the person became more visible to her. It was Beomgyu's older brother, Yeonjun. Her eyes widened when she saw him sitting and......and crying!

Her steps naturally followed his direction and as soon as he noticed her, he tried to wipe his tears away and seem normal to Ryujin.

She just sat beside him on the swing without saying anything.

"Oh Ryujin! Do you need anything? Are you fine?"
He asked formally but she just looked in the front.

"Are you fine?"
Ryujin asked as his smile dropped.

"I am!"
He tried to cheer up but she knew he was trying to hide his emotions from her.

"Just know that there is always a solution."
Ryujin said as Yeonjun gave a surprised look to her.

"What to do when it's about love?"
Yeonjun finally said as he looked at her with a spark in eyes hoping to get an answer from her.

"Love? It indeed is a beautiful thing."
Ryujin said making Yeonjun's expressions go fade.
