✨chapter 8✨

As the sun began its ascent into the sky, casting a warm golden glow over the chamber, Taehyung stirred from his slumber, his senses gradually returning to him.

Blinking away the remnants of sleep, he stretched his limbs languidly, preparing to rise from the depths of unconsciousness.But as he attempted to sit up, a soft weight on his chest halted his movements, prompting him to glance downwards in surprise. There, nestled against him with a serene expression on his face, was Jimin, his features softened in the gentle light of morning.

A small smile tugged at the corners of Taehyung's lips as he gazed down at the omega, marveling at the sight before him. Jimin looked so peaceful, so utterly content, as if the weight of the world had been lifted from his shoulders in the quiet stillness of sleep.For a moment, Taehyung simply watched, his heart swelling with a warmth he couldn't quite explain.

Despite his best efforts to maintain his usual composure, he couldn't deny the flutter of affection that stirred within him at the sight of Jimin nestled against him, so trusting and vulnerable in his slumber.

.But as Jimin began to stir, Taehyung quickly closed his eyes, feigning sleep in an attempt to avoid any awkwardness. He listened intently as Jimin woke, the soft rustle of fabric and the gentle sighs filling the room.

Taehyung lay there, pretending to sleep, he couldn't help but notice the subtle changes in the air – the mingling of scents

Beneath the facade of slumber, his senses were acutely aware of Jimin's presence, of the warmth and sweetness that enveloped them both in a delicate embrace

.With each inhale, Taehyung found himself intoxicated by the scent of Jimin – a heady mixture of vanilla and strawberries, so intoxicatingly familiar yet tantalizingly new. It was a scent that wrapped around him like a soft blanket, comforting and inviting, stirring something deep within him that he couldn't quite name.

And as he lay there, lost in the haze of Jimin's scent,  Taehyung remained motionless, his breathing steady and even as he continued to feign sleep. He couldn't bring himself to face the awkwardness of the situation, the uncertainty of what would come next. Instead, he buried himself deeper beneath the covers, willing himself to disappear into the safety of slumber.

Meanwhile, Jimin's cheeks flushed with color as he took in the scene before him. He couldn't believe he had fallen asleep on top of Taehyung, couldn't fathom how they had ended up in such a compromising position. And yet, as he looked down at Taehyung's peaceful expression, he couldn't deny the strange sense of comfort that washed over him – the feeling of being safe and protected in Taehyung's arms.

But as Jimin shifted away, giving Taehyung space to wake up, he couldn't help but notice something else – the faint hint of sandalwood and jasmine that clung to his skin, mingling with his own scent in a dizzying dance of pheromones and desire.It was a revelation that left Jimin breathless, his heart pounding in his chest as he struggled to make sense of the emotions swirling inside him.

And as Taehyung finally stirred, his eyes fluttering open to meet Jimin's gaze,
Taehyung waited for Jimin to speak.

"How did we end up like this?" Jimin's voice was soft, tinged with embarrassment, as he glanced up at Taehyung with wide eyes.

Taehyung hesitated for a moment, searching for the right words to explain their current predicament. "I'm not sure," he admitted finally, his voice low and husky.

Jimin nodded, his cheeks still flushed with color as he carefully extricated himself from Taehyung's embrace. "I'm sorry," he murmured, averting his gaze. "I didn't mean to... intrude."

Taehyung shook his head, reaching out to gently touch Jimin's arm. "It's fine," he reassured him, his touch light and tentative. "We must have just... drifted during the night."

They both fell silent, the air thick with tension as they avoided each other's gaze, each lost in their own thoughts. But beneath the awkwardness, there was a spark

Jimin's cheeks flushed crimson at Taehyung's nonchalant response, and he quickly averted his gaze, feeling a strange mixture of embarrassment and exhilaration coursing through him. "Um, I should probably go do my routine," he mumbled, scrambling to his feet in a flurry of movement.

Taehyung watched Jimin's hasty retreat with amusement, a soft chuckle escaping his lips as he marveled at the omega's adorable antics. Once Jimin had disappeared into the bathroom, Taehyung rose from the bed and stretched languidly, relishing the quiet solitude of the chamber.

As Jimin emerged from the bathroom, freshly washed and dressed for the day ahead, Taehyung's gaze softened at the sight of him. Despite the awkwardness that lingered between them, there was a sense of familiarity in Jimin's presence that Taehyung couldn't ignore.

And now taehyung went to do his morning routine .As he began his own morning routine, Taehyung couldn't shake the lingering sense of anticipation that hung in the air.

Despite his best efforts to remain detached, he found himself inexplicably drawn to Jimin, his thoughts consumed by the enigmatic omega who had unwittingly crumbling the walls he created around his heart.

After completing his routine, Taehyung emerged from the bathroom to find Jimin waiting for him, dressed and ready for the day ahead. There was a tentative smile playing on Jimin's lips

Shall we go to breakfast?" Taehyung suggested, gesturing towards the door with a graceful sweep of his hand.Jimin nodded eagerly, falling into step beside Taehyung as they made their way to the royal dining hall
