Carlos and I decided go in Manchester for this weekend to watch Jack and Julian because I missed them

Manchester City plays with Manchester United and I won't lose the chance watching my boys beating them!

"Jack is fast" Carlos said "But he likes penalties"

"Shut up" I laughed "You're rude!"

"You're cute" Carlos winked at me, I turned to watch the game again trying not think that I feel like Carlos flirts with me

The game ended 4-0 with City and Erling beating United! I walked on the pitch with Carlos to watch the boys

"ANASTASIA!" Jack ran to give me such a big hug "No fucking way! That's the best surprise ever!"

"Hey you" I laughed and I broke the hug, Jack is way too happy "Amazing game babe"

"Thanks sweetie" Jack kissed my hair "How the wedding organise is going?"

"Really good and the date is perfect for you guys come and watch us" I said and I looked at Carlos

"I know that you guys are good friends so I couldn't say no to her" He laughed softly

"Sasha?" I asked and Jack turned at me

"She is in London for a photo shoot" Jack answered

"Model lifestyle" I giggled softly "Are you happy with your performance?"

"Totally happy!" Jack laughed

My phone rang, it was the orthopaedic doctor that checked Carlos' back so I walked a bit away to pick up the call

"Sarah!" I smiled

"Hello Anastasia! Hope everything is fine!" She asked

"Yeah we are in Manchester now! You?" I asked

"I am good! I don't know about Carlos' back!" Sarah sighed and I felt stressed "He suffers from Spinal decompression and fusion"

That's bad that's really bad! I was working with athletes for years and I know that this can take a year to be completely fine

"I can't do the surgery but I have a really good surgeon who can do it! I'll text you his number!"

"Thank you Sarah" I nodded and I hanged up, I walked at the guys again

"You okay?" Carlos asked touching his back

"It was Sarah" I looked at him "Spinal decompression and fusion"

"Shit" Jack murmured

"You need to have a surgery... Sarah will text me the number of the surgeon" I was completely in shock but mostly for the new season

"Okay" Carlos sighed

"The full recovery takes some times even a year" I answered "But we are on this together"

"Cuties" Jack smiled

"Thank you" Carlos nodded

We left the stadium and go for dinner in a restaurant, I can't imagine that I have to train Carlos after a Spinal decompression and fusion surgery

"You will be fine! I am here and I will be next to you until you will be full recovered from the surgery" I squeezed his hand "I know it's painful, I had the same surgery when I was 17 but you'll be fine soon!"

"Thank you for helping me getting through this! You are a good friend" Carlos smiled

But that's what I am! Just a friend and soon to be a fake wife!

On Monday morning we were in a private clinic in Madrid with Carlos and his family to have his surgery done

His surgeon,Doctor Almeida, had surgeries so many athletes and I'm sure that he'll help Carlos as much as he helped the other athletes

The nurseries walked in the room to take Carlos in the wheelchair to the surgery room

They said in Spanish that they have to do his anaesthesia not just in the back but you will be sedated during the surgery

"Good Luck" I leaned and I kissed his cheek but he turned to kiss my lips

"I love you" He squeezed my cheek

"I love you too" I squeezed his arm

His family said good luck as well and then the nurseries took him away, we all sat to wait him outside of the room

The phrase "I love you" coming out of his lips was something special and I absolutely loved it as fake as it was

I am in love with him and I have to stop this...
