Sixteen

We were waiting for Carlos end the surgery, I know that we have a long way until the recovery

The doctor came and we all stood up to hear the news about his surgery

"The surgery was successful! But" Doctor Almeida sighed "Carlos has not woke up from the anaesthesia"

"What?" I asked completely in shock "How?"

"Is it possible?" Carlos Sr asked madly hugging his wife

"Yeah it's probably by the residual drug effect" Doctor answered "He'll be fine but we have to wait"

I was completely in shock, but I know that we have to wait a few hours and then they'll give him something else to wake up but they want to avoid it

"You stay here, I'll keep you update" The doctor walked away and I looked at his parents

"He'll be fine" I nodded smiling "I'm sure"

"Carlos is a strong boy" Carlos Sr giggled softly "The doctor will come back telling us that Carlos woke up"

A few minutes later I walked downstairs in the cafeteria to grab a coffee and a water because I need them

I grabbed them and I walked outside of the clinic to take some air, I can't stay in there any longer, Carlos is fine I'm sure he is! I know him!

I don't know how many hours I stayed outside of the hotel but I knew that Carlos' cousin came to check on me and then he left

I was looking at the view we had from the clinic and it's absolutely gorgeous, someone came to sit next to me, it was Lando

"You two are not a couple" Lando said and I looked at him "I know, Carlos told me"

"And we said not talk to anyone" I giggled softly "Yeah it's true"

"Tell me, you like him, don't you?" He asked and I nodded giggling "You look cute together and you have talk to him"

"I know but he considers me as a friend and now he hasn't woken up from the anaesthesia!" I started crying, Lando hugged me and he kissed my hair, I wanted to cry so badly the last hours but I didn't know what to do

"He'll be fine" Lando sighed "Carlos is strong"

"I know but it's affair" I faced him "I can't believe that I can't do anything!"

"Relax! I'm sure he'll fine and then you'll tell him how you feel" Lando placed his hands on my cheeks "Okay love?"

I nodded laughing, Carlos came and we both turned

"He woke up" he said smiling taking away his glasses to rub his eyes

Lando and I almost ran in the clinic to Carlos, he was on the bed feeling exhausted

I got into his arms to give me a strong hug, he giggled softly and he kissed my cheek

"You okay" I broke the hug to look at him

"Not even Lucifer wants me" Carlos laughed and I kissed his cheek

"Idiot" I laughed softly "I am happy that you're okay"

"I am!" Carlos nodded "My back hurts a bit but I'll be fine"

This is gonna be a long recovery from the surgery! It's so hard for him!
