Shawn's POV

I opened my arms wide for the last fan at the meet and greet. "Hi, beautiful!" I greeted her with a big hug. She smiled at me with her pearly white teeth. "I'm (y/n)." She said quietly.

"It's nice to meet you, (y/n). What do you want to do for your pose?" She showed me the picture on her phone.

"Okay, love." I looked at our hands as we intertwined our fingers. Her sleeve slipped down revealing scars on her wrists. I moved my focus from her arms and smiled at the camera.

"Thank you, Shawn. I love you so much." She went in for one more hug. I hugged her tightly not wanting to let her go.

When she pulled away I saw her eyes glossy. "Shawn, you have to get to sound check." John shouted. "Just give me a minute, alright?"

"Hey, don't cry, darling." I wiped her tears away with my thumb. "Listen, you are never ever alone, okay? Ever. Don't ever think that because I'll always love you, always." I grabbed her face gently in my hands.

"I love you so much. Don't you ever do that again, okay?" She nodded her her head in my hands whilst wrapping her small hands around my wrists.

"Your face? Your face makes me so happy. I don't know what I would do if I didn't get to see you again. So please, never ever again." I paused, "promise that you won't do it again, promise."

I kissed her forehead before removing my hands from her face. "Pinkie promise that you won't ever bring any harm to yourself ever again, okay?"

I stuck out my pinkie watching her raise her slightly shaking hand. "I promise." I heard her say quietly. "I love you so much." I pulled her into my arms again. "I love you, Shawn." I heard her say into my chest.

"I love you too, darling."
