This book was extremely difficult for me to write. I did plan for Dominic and Gabrielle to be together, but as I kept going, I realized it wasn't meant to be. This story completely depressed me, and I came very close to deleting it all together. But we ended up with this, and I just didn't have the heart to make it into a longer story. It broke my heart and I found myself randomly crying while I was writing it. At work.
That being said, Dominic's story isn't over. I can't leave him hanging, so he will get his happily ever after. At this point, I think we'd all be a little upset if he didn't. 😂.
Book 9 is not Dominic's story, though he is in it, and it's much longer than this one.
