They stayed in the park until the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the landscape. Eventually, they made their way back to their cottage, their hands still entwined. As they climbed the steps up to the porch, she paused, turning to face him. "You know, it's funny," she began, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "When we first met, I never would have thought this is how things would end up."He smiled back at her, his eyes shining with love. "Neither would I. But I'm glad they did." They walked inside together, their hands still clasped and shut the door behind them. As they stood there in the warm, cozy living room, she looked around, taking in the familiar surroundings that now felt so much like home. And in that moment, she knew that no matter what challenges they faced in the future, they would always have each other. They spent the rest of the evening curled up on the couch, watching a movie and sharing popcorn. As they laughed and joked together, she couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over her. This was what it meant to be truly happy, she realized. To have found someone who made her feel whole, and who loved her just as fiercely as she loved them. It was a feeling she never wanted to lose and one that she intended to cherish for the rest of her life. As the credits rolled, they leaned in for a final kiss, their lips lingering against each other's for several sweet moments. They spent the night cuddled up in bed, their bodies tangled together in a way that felt so right. The house was quiet, the only sound the gentle snores of their sleeping pet, Pumpkin. The sheets were warm, and the air was heavy with the scent of their love. As she drifted off to sleep, she couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment, for this life, and for the man who had somehow managed to make it all complete. The next morning, they woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside their window, the sun streaming in through the curtains. They stretched lazily, entwining their fingers and toes in a tangle of limbs. "Good morning, sleepyhead," Draco murmured, kissing her forehead. "Happy Valentine's Day." She giggled, rolling over to face him. "And a happy one to you too." They lingered in bed for a while longer, enjoying the feeling of being wrapped up in each other's arms. Finally, they decided to venture downstairs for breakfast, hand in hand. The kitchen was small but cozy, with a worn wooden table and mismatched chairs. Draco expertly prepared breakfast while she hummed along to a soft love song playing on the radio. The smell of bacon and eggs filled the air, making her stomach grumble in anticipation. As they sat down to eat, she looked up at him and smiled. "This is perfect. Just like us," she said, taking his hand in hers. He smiled back, squeezing her hand gently. "I agree. And I think it's only going to get better from here." She felt a shiver of excitement run down her spine. She couldn't wait to see what the future held for them.
