While everyone congratulated the happy couple, Harry glanced at Draco, his lips curling into a small smile. Between them, there was an unspoken connection- a bond that went beyond mere friendship. They knew they were in this together, and as a team, they were prepared to face any challenges that lay ahead. As the final bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, the Great Hall slowly but surely began to empty, with students and teachers alike making their way toward their respective common rooms. Amidst the commotion, Draco and Addie found themselves saying their goodbyes to friends, promising to meet up later for a celebratory dinner. Walking side by side down the empty corridor, they could feel the excitement building in the air, as if the very walls were alive with the thrill of the upcoming evening.

As they strolled, the silence amplified the sound of their footsteps, echoing off the stone walls. The atmosphere was electric, the anticipation palpable, and the air was thick with a heady mix of love and excitement. The sweet scent of blooming flowers floated on the breeze, filling their senses with its intoxicating aroma. The soft, golden light from the torches that lined the hallway flickered and danced, casting shadows that seemed to playfully follow their every move.

Draco and Addie could feel their hearts beating rapidly in their chests, their bodies humming with excitement as they made their way towards their destination. It was as if time had slowed down, and they were the only two people in the world, lost in their little bubble of happiness. Despite the busy day they had had, they couldn't help but feel invigorated and alive, eager to see what the night would bring.

Their apartment was a warm and cozy sanctuary, filled with the comforting aroma of dinner simmering on the stove. Draco shut the door behind them and leaned against it, taking in a deep breath. He turned to face Addie, his green eyes sparkling. "I can't believe it's finally happened, Addie. I've loved you for so long, and now..." He trailed off, unable to find the words to express how he felt.Addie walked over to him, her hands on his cheeks. "I know me too. I never expected this, but I'm so glad it did. I'm glad we're in this together." She leaned in and kissed him softly, her lips warm against his. The kiss deepened, and they lost themselves in the moment, their hands exploring each other's bodies, their breath mingling in the air.As they broke apart for air, Draco smiled down at her. "I think we should eat. I made your favorite: shepherd's pie." He walked over to the stove and took the covered dish off the heat, setting it on the table. The aroma filled the room, making their stomachs growl in anticipation."That smells amazing," Addie murmured, walking over to the table. She sat down at the small kitchen island and watched as Draco expertly sliced the pie into two portions. He placed one in front of her and then sat down across from her. Their fingers brushed as they reached for their forks simultaneously, and a shiver ran down Addie's spine. They ate in companionable silence, savoring the flavors and the comfort of each other's presence. When they were finished, Draco cleared the dishes and began to wash them in the sink. Addie leaned against the counter, watching him move with such familiar ease. She couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment and security settle over her."I'm going to take a shower," she announced, her voice still quiet from the intimacy of their earlier embrace. "I'm a little sweaty from practice." Without waiting for a reply, she turned

and walked down the short hallway to their bathroom. Draco listened to the sounds of the water running, relishing in the familiarity of it all.

draco listened to the sound of the water when Addie started to sing their song they both sang when they were younger "Since we were 18 " he smiled to himself and hummed along. Draco couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment, for the chance to be with Addie, and to have her love in return. As the shower turned off and the steam began to dissipate, Draco heard her footsteps approaching the bedroom. He glanced at the clock on the bedside table, noticing that it was getting late. He hoped they could get a good night's sleep before their classes in the morning.

Draco walked out of the kitchen, wiping his hands on a dish towel, and met Addie in the hallway. She was wearing one of his oversized t-shirts, the hem barely reaching her thighs, and a pair of his boxer shorts. She looked adorable, and he couldn't help but smile." what?" she asked, catching the look he was giving her.

He shook his head, chuckling. "Nothing. You just look really cute." He took her hand and led her into the bedroom. The air was cool, and the sheets were smooth against their skin. He climbed onto the bed, pulling her down beside him."Do you want to watch something, or read?" he asked, reaching for the remote control on the nightstand."I think I'm going to try to catch up on some sleep," she yawned. "It's been a long day." She nestled into the pillows, feeling the familiar weight of his arm draped across her waist." I want you lying right on my chest"Draco grinned, pulling her closer and rolling onto his side to spoon her. He looped his arm under her shoulders, and his leg snaked around hers, pressing their hips together. She let out a contented sigh, her head resting on his shoulder. The touch of his skin against hers sent a shiver of pleasure down her spine. "I could get used to this," she murmured, her voice barely audible. He nuzzled his face into her hair, inhaling her unique scent. "So could I," he whispered, his lips brushing against her ear. "But I think I'd prefer it if you were in my bed every night." He paused, considering his words. "Or at least, most nights." "what do you mean?""Well, I was thinking about how we'll manage once school starts again. You'll have your dorm room, and I'll have mine." He sighed, not wanting to dwell on the idea of being apart. "But I guess we could always find ways to see each other, right?"Addie snuggled deeper into Draco's embrace, her cheek pressed against his chest. "Of course we can. We could always visit each other, or find excuses to come back to your place for the weekends." She smiled up at him, her eyes shining with hope. "Or... maybe we could try to find somewhere else to live, together?"Draco's heart skipped a beat at the thought. "You'd be willing to do that?" he asked, unable to hide the excitement in his voice. "To live with me, I mean?""Of course, I would," she said with a smile. "I've never been happier than I am with you. Why would I want to be apart from you?"
