She knew there was no hesitation in her heart, no doubt in her mind. "Yes," she said, her voice shaking with emotion. "Yes, Draco, I will marry you. I will be your wife, and I will love you and our children with all my heart." Tears streamed down her cheeks as she slipped the ring onto her finger, feeling its weight and warmth against her skin.

He leaned forward, cupping her face in his hands, and kissed her tenderly, his lips soft and familiar against hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling the strength and warmth of his body against hers. They stayed like that for a long moment, lost in the intensity of the moment until they heard a soft chirping sound from the nearby bushes.

Startled, they pulled apart, turning to see a tiny bird perched on a branch, cocking its head curiously at them. The bird seemed to be staring at the ring on her finger, its tiny head bobbing up and down. They shared a small laugh at the interruption, feeling a sense of relief and normalcy wash over them.

"I guess that means yes," he said, wiping a tear from her cheek. "So, what do you say? When should we do this?"

She smiled up at him, feeling a renewed sense of happiness and anticipation. "How about next weekend?" she suggested. "We could have a small, intimate ceremony here, just the two of us and our little friend as a witness."

He nodded, his eyes twinkling with happiness. "I like that idea. We can invite our closest friends and family to celebrate with us afterward."

They spent the rest of the evening in each other's arms, talking and laughing and dreaming about their future together. As they left the garden and walked back to their apartment, they knew that their lives were forever changed. They were engaged, and nothing could ever come between them.

"You know," Draco said, his voice thoughtful, "I've been thinking. Maybe we should consider moving to a bigger house. One with more room for when we start a family."

Addie smiled, her heart swelling with happiness. "That's a wonderful idea. I've always wanted to live in a big old house with a garden full of roses."

Draco nodded, his eyes sparkling with the same vision. "Yes, I can see us there now. You'll have your gardening area, and I'll have my study, and we'll have plenty of room for our children to run and play." He paused, his expression turning serious. "But first, we need to make sure we have a secure future. My father's been pressuring me to take over the family business, but I think I'd rather focus on my ventures. Perhaps you could help me manage them?" She smiled at the thought, feeling a surge of pride in him. "I'd be honored to help you, Draco. I have some ideas about streamlining the business, and I'm sure we could make it successful together." They sat in silence for a moment, lost in their thoughts about their future together.

The stars continued to twinkle above them, and the gentle breeze rustled through the garden, carrying with it the scent of roses and lavender. Addie glanced down at her engagement ring, still unable to believe that Draco had asked her to be his wife. She felt as if she had won the lottery as if fate had finally given her the chance to be with the man she loved.

"I can't help but wonder," she began, looking up at him with a thoughtful expression, "if Harry knows about us. I mean, he left us a note, but we never had a chance to talk about...us." Draco chuckled softly, his fingers absently tracing circles on her hand. "Well, it's not as if we could exactly invite him over for a chat about our relationship. He's...well, he's rather busy these days, isn't he?" He paused, considering the matter further. "Besides, I think he understands. He knows that we both have our own lives to lead now."She nodded, her eyes fixed on the stars above them. "I suppose you're right. It's just...I can't help but feel a little bad about keeping things from him. We've always been so close, and now we're doing this without even telling him."
