Late nights ch 4

I walk out of the bathroom and see Alyssa and Waylon talking she's holding a rose I walk up to them my rose being behind my back in my hand "hey guys" "did you get a rose yet birdy" "nope there's two periods left I don't think I'll get one "Waylon got me one!" "Fun anyway I'm gonna go find Zach" she nods and I do just that bit of course he's talking to a guy named Colby who has a massive crush on me but I must go on I walk up to them and I hug Zach "thank you" "how do you feel now?" "I like you, a lot" "prom is two weeks away expect a whole thing" "please don't" he laughs and hugs me with one arm I walk to the front office "I don't feel good" she nods and I sign out taking my truck home I change into my dirtbike clothes I grab my dirtbike and put it in my truck my dad walks outside "what are you doing loralai?" I pause "I need to think" "tell me what's happening" "Zach wants to date" "what do you mean Zach wants to date you?" "Girl problems dad I'll be back later he nods and walks inside I get in my truck pull out and drive to the trails I park and start up my bike Zach calls me while I'm putting my gloves on

I hang up and get on my bike I hold in clutch then my quad just shuts off I see smoke definitely not coming from the exhaust I load my bike back up and drive home again pulling my bike out once more and I get to work
4 hours later
My bike is almost done but it's bonfire time and Zach is now pulling up he hops out of the truck waving at my dad mowing the lawn "what's up birdy" "hi Zach I'm gonna get changed come inside my brothers are in their rooms he follows me into my room stopping at the doorway "I'm putting on different jeans and hoodie I'll be right out I pushed him into Waylon's room I close and lock my door throwing on some old ripped bootcut jeans I wash my hands and put on Romeo's I throw on my hooey jacket and we left in the truck "can we make it official?" "Yes" he smiles
At the bonfire
I knew something was up when we were going to a fire at 4:00 o'clock we pulled up to the shooting range 4 miles from the bonfire jenna and her boyfriend Cole are setting up Cole's gun "the bonfire is in like 2 hours so we're pregaming I brought several buzz balls and blankets for you"
I smile and get out of the truck I hug Jenna then grab my blanket aswell as Jenna We pack up our buzz balls and curl up on the tailgate while Zach and Cole play around. "So your saying now?" I nod and take a sip from a blue raspberry buzz ball "yep we're dating" she's silent for a moment "you make him happy" once again I nod
2 hours later we drove the 4 miles down and started getting the fire ready throwing wood and cardboard along with pizza boxes multiple other people show up throwing wood and boxes into the pile until 30 minutes later we had a huge pile Zach and his friend Jonah who set up the bonfire invite throw in two caulking tubes and they light the fire. "I brought your chair" zach says "thank you I'll go grab it" "I got it" he walks away I turn back to Alyssa who is now replaced with Waylon "what are you doing here" he laughs "your up to something" he's high "go home Waylon" "your night is over any plans you had are now mine" I roll my eyes, Zach sets down my chair I sit down and watch the fire for a while until everyone showed up Waylon tried playing around but it didn't phase me
2:00 am
I'm standing in front of the fire smoking a joint with Jenna Zach is gone on his dirt bike with Jonah Waylon and Cole it's been 20 minutes and they come in flinging mud Zach gets off the bike he looks pissed off I see Waylon throw his bike in his truck and drive off I walk to Zach he's now taking a shot "do you wanna head out?" He shakes his head "it's the weekend why don't you sleep at my house we have the whole day to do nothing in bed let's enjoy this" I shrug and we walk to the fire that's now just a small hill of flames I sit down next to Zach he holds my hand and kisses it.
