out of my league [Regina George]

"and that will be all for today" the biology teacher ms. langford informed the class at the end of class as the bell rang "remember you have the thesis due monday" she half yelled at the students who dashed out of the class 

"thank you" ava felt bad for her. ms. langford was the sweetest teacher in the school and the students walked all over her 

as ava headed towards her car she texted regina, reminding her of the tutoring session they had today. she found a public library and told regina about it. ava walked over to her car as she waited for jonathan and darcy. 

"we still on for tonight's plan right?" jonathan asked as he and darcy approached ava's car

"yeah i don't know" ava sighed getting in and starting her car up "i've got this tutoring sesh today" 

"with regina george" darcy completed for her 

"with regina george" she reversed her car and drove out of the parking lot going in the direction of jonathan's house 

"yeah, to tally forgot, your one week started today darcy. good luck" jonathan scoffed earning a shove from the girl 

"shut up" darcy said "i  won't need your good luck"

"enough okay? what makes you think I am gonna have a mental breakdown?" Ava asked the two

"the fact that she's literally the most popular person on campus" Darcy said

"and the meanest" Jonathan added making Darcy nod in agreement

"okay whatever but" Ava tried to argue "I could totally bag her" Ava said making the two break into a fit of laughter "what?"

"it's just funny you think she'd ever choose you" Darcy said

"yeah she's like way out of your league" Jonathan added

rest of the ride was filled with the two teasing ava

"here you go" she dropped darcy off 

"so you're going straight to the library now?" darcy asked getting out of the car 

"that's the plan" ava sighed as she made her way to the library

walking in she saw regina george already there seated at the far back with a book in her hand 

"i didn't know you were such a book worm, george" ava whispered as she set her backpack down before sitting next to her

"no, ew why would you say that?" regina put her book away and took the notes out, ava doing the same "and don't call me george, it makes me sound like a slimy middle aged man with a belly and glasses" 

"that's oddly specific" ava chuckled 

"anyway, i don't have any wish to spend more time with you so why don't we just get started?" 

"feeling's mutual" ava flipped the pages untill she landed on the physical chem portions "so, for chem, you need to understand there are three parts, physical, organic and inorganic. physical is pretty easy so we're gonna start with that" 

"mhm" regina nodded as she shifted herself closer to ava to take a look at the notes, her arm touching ava's torso 

"so" ava cleared her throat, regina being so close physically obviously made her a bit nervous   "first up, we have solutions" she explained the part 

the next two hours were spent ava explaining different formulas and terminologies to regina, since that's all there was in physical chemistry. regina grasped the concepts quickly much to ava's surprise. 

"sp that's it" ava closed the notebook "and the time is also up" she looked at her watch 

"that was awfully long" regina yawned as she put her head on the table 

"sure was" ava chuckled packing her things up "same time tomorrow and we'll do inorganic" she got 

"yeah" regina turned her head away from ava "whatever" ava chuckled before leaving 

when ava left, however, regina lifted her head back up and watched the path ava took for a beat too long. shaking her head she packed up her things and walked out of the building. 

"yeah" ava chuckled over her headphone's mic "and she told me not to talk to her at school" she gripped the co trol as her gaze fixated on the screen where she had COD on 

"what a bitch" jonathan scoffed as she heard his voice over the device

"yeah, like i am ever gonna wanna talk- look out!" she half yelled killing a player that was about to shoot jonathan 

"damn" he chuckled in disbeleif "thank you"

"yeah, as i was saying. as if i am ever gonna wanna talk to her" she scoffed as they continued the game "what's darcy doing?" 

"probably watching some podcast on spirituality, you know how she is" jonathan scoffed. it was true, darcy ocassionally joined their game. 

"yeah, shit no!" she tried shooting but couldn't take the other player out "save me! revive me! what the fuck" she spoke to jonathan as he took a bit too long to arrive and she ended up dead "fuck you, jonathan" 

"i am sorry" he laughed 

"fuck you" she laughed with him

"i am sorry" he said before she left the game to complete her homework and revise for tutoring regina tomorrow. 

the next day at lunch the trio was together again at the same table 

"how did it go with regina yesterday?" darcy questioned 

"yeah it was okay. she wasn't so bitchy for once" ava informed 

"we still have a week to go" she shot jonathan a glare who was smirking at her 

"oh for god's sake" ava rolled her eyes "i am not gonna have a mental breakdown" she clarified 

"whatever you say, ava" darcy raised her hand up in defence 

"yes" ava stood her ground "anyway we're still on for that trip this sunday right?" 

"hell yeah!" jonathan explaimed 

"i am so excited" darcy exclaimed smiling 

"yeah me too" the three had decided weeks ago that they'll go on an out of town trip on the first sunday of october and it was here 

"and i'll see you kids later" ava got up and left the hall walking to her next class 

"watch where you're going" regina's voice chided 

"sure" ava scoffed as she was back on her path, taking out her phone, she texted regina to remind her about the session today 

she quickly replied to ava's text

'i don't wanna go back to the library, let's do it at my house'
