"i know it is a fucking mansion" Jonathan said as he picked her up with ease as, she uttered yelp

"okay" she laid her head on his shoulder as he walked to the backyard

"shh" he signalled her to keep quiet as he sneaked around and found the perfect spot "call her"

"who?" Ava said as Jonathan let her go and she stood on the ground

"regina George. call her" he demanded as he walked away enough that Ava could see him but nobody else

"okay" Ava dialled Regina's number who picked up after a few rings

"what is it loser?" she said in a raspy voice

"i don't know" Ava slurred her words

"what?" regina was annoyed now

"I am in the backyard"

"you don't have a backyard at your place"

"not mine"

"what?" regina connected the dots as she walked towards her window and opened it "what the hell" she spotted Ava

"i know" she chuckled "do you love him?"

"are you drunk?" regina asked ignoring her question

"no" she shrugged "please don't love him" Ava cried "PLEASE" she yelled

"hey, shh" Regina shushed her "you're gonna wake my mom. do one thing, sit there"

Ava complied as she sat crossegged in the grass as Regina raced down to get her. regina slinged one of her arms around Ava's waist and the other holding Ava's arm over her own shoulder

"be quiet" Regina whispered as the two walked up to her room "careful" Regina softly put Ava on her bed

"you know" Ava held Regina's hand "you're pretty but.."

"but?" regina asked sitting at the edge as she brushed Ava's hair off her face

"Regina is the prettiest" she slurred her words

"is she?" regina blushed and decided to use the situation to her advantage "how?"

"well" Ava sighed "she has the perfect blonde hair and she's got these big blue eyes that kinda have grey in them and her face" Ava sighed dreamily

"do you like this Regina girl?"

"it's hard not to, she's like I don't know she's perfect. she's got the perfect looks, this fierce personality and she plays my favourite video games" Ava pointed

"aw" Regina smiled caressing Ava's cheek with her thumb

"that's what hurts" Ava sniffled

"why does it hurt?" regina furrowed her brows in concern

"the fact that" Ava took a breath in "that she doesn't and probably will never like me back"

"maybe she does like you? she played your favourite video game and she hates video games"

"no she kissed her ex today" Ava mumbled before going to sleep as she left regina wondering

does ava finally like her back?

the next morning ava woke up with a killing headache. she opened her eyes and as they adjusted to the surroundings she realised, this wasn't her room.

what the hell

she whispered to herself, squinting her eyes as the bright sunlight pierced through them. she looked over to the couch, her eyes widened when the realisation hit her
