Background:

Ash was born in Ironhaven after the Great War, learning, studying and more importantly...surviving the Wastelands. He grew to love scavenging as to him it was an adventure that sometimes leads to great things, and a fortune he can use to give his family a better life. As he grew up with his parents, he was taught how to clean, repair and manufacture weapons of the current times

He also learned to do first aid, make chems(hey do what you gotta do) and other things people needed in the wastelands. He did this for 12 years, then he lost both his parents to sickness, as regular means couldn't save them. So he had to close the shop his family ran for years, then moved to the Red Rocket gas station and there he found a new member of his family, Red his dog.

There he would build the station as his home, scraping all the junk he found and remodeling the inside with all the things he finds and buys at Ironhaven. He also managed to scavenged a Power Armor frame from an old military base he frequents. He had to drag the entire thing for week back to his home, which he was glad he worked out a lot.

Soon he would go out again to run into a ragtag group of Brotherhood of Steel soldiers, which he tired to not fan boy over as he was a huge fan of them. And yes he knows about the other chapters in DC, the Mojave and Commonwealth, but he respects them for being able to stand after all the shit that was thrown at them. He would help them handle a massive Raider group

He offers them to help them get deals at home, so he does whatever it takes to help them and get a little favor from them. He also meets the last remnants of the chapter from the Commonwealth, after Maxson was killed when the Pyrdwen was destroyed. He also heard of the BoS being scattered around Tennessee, so in exchange for a small fee, he help them get back together

As this was happening, he heard rumors of the Enclave coming back, scattered as well with the BoS and heard there was infighting within them. He would meet one group that left the Enclave after the failure of the Purity project, which they tried to force the evolved form of the First Evolutionary Virus, or FEE. He was suspicious but they swore they weren't with them

He accepted it, for now, and let the two groups meet...which almost caused a firefight in his home. He managed to stop it by using his wits and making them see they have the same goals in life, even though they can both be total assholes sometimes. He got them to engage in peace talks, which took forever given they have a rough history since DC

Let's see what he can do now!
