Faye's POV

I left Yoko and went here in the Interpol secret building. I went inside, and a staff was telling me the way, I can see many officers and other staffs are very busy, some of them are seems in a hurry and a panic, but I wouldn't be able to understand their job since I am not part of it.

"Ms. Malisorn, we're here in Ms. Jiang's office." The staff wake me from my senses, and I nodded, "thank you." I said to her, and she bowed at me and left.

I was about to knock when Jiang Yun opens the door, her cold and unpredictable face was shown to me. "Faye?"

I nodded, "please enter." She said, and make a way for me. She seems so young to be a Colonel, well, she must be in her twenties.

I heard her close the door, then she walk to approach her chair. As I sit down, she say, "why ms. Malisorn visit?" She asked.

"Well, I was just—" I was cut when some staff opened the door and just sang a Chinese Happy Birthday for her.

It's her birthday today, but her face is not happy. "Get out." She said, as she take the cake with her and close the door.

Jiang Yun put the cake in her table, "what is it?"

I was about to say something but I was so shock seeing the numbers in the cake... "What?!"

"What?" She asked calmly, "you're Thirty-two???" I was shocked that it had my both eyes wide open.

"Why? Is there a problem with my age?"

"No! I thought you were younger than me, because your face— you look just like in your twenties!!" I said, and she scoffed, "I'll take that as a compliment, but tell me why are you here?" Her face immediately changed.

"Well, I just wanted to inform you that someone wants to frame Yoko." I said, even though I already know who is it. She nodded and sat down, "I already know that. And if you're thinking that you Malisorns are the one doing it, you're all joking to yourselves." She said, and I was shocked.

"You knew?"

"What? That your father and Duke Chao tried to frame Duke Yu a hideous crime? Of course I know it, before you even knew it. You're just too slow for everything, Faye." She said, and I felt a little bit insulted, "You're just 2 years ahead of me—"

"Yeah, which makes me older than you, so better call me Jiejie or better address me formally." She said, I'm getting more pissed, "I don't want to. And if you know, then why you didn't arrest my father?"

"Well, like I said, you Malisorns are only joking to yourselves, which made you guys imbecile of the situation. If you have more concerns, you can help me through this case, but I will not tell you anything I know for it's dangerous. Goodbye!" She uttered and I was shocked, a staff came and say, "Khun Faye, let's go?"

I was confused, "is she asking me to leave?" I asked, "indeed. I have a lot more work to do." Jiang Yun said to me without even looking at my face and I felt even more pissed, she must be a mind reader or something.

"Oh! If you're pissed, better let it out outside, not here in my office." I was shocked hearing that from her, "how did you know that?"

"I can feel presence as much as I feel someone's emotions. It's a gift," she said, and I was even amazed hearing that.

That is probably the reason why she became a Colonel at such a young age. Sheeesh, Chinese people never really age that fast.
