CHAPTER VII : Lola's Diary.

SCIENCTIST : Of course!

The scienctist heads to another room to print out the two copies of the DNA results. Gray looked at Piper once again witj the same shocked face.

PIPER : Gosh why do you like so shocked? Anyways I have an idea on where we should go for more clues. I heard rumors that Lola had a diary‚ we gotta go to her house today if possible but should happen.

GRAY : Dang‚ reading someone diary is CRAZY. You sure you wanna do it like‚ karma exi-

PIPER : Stop it with your nonsense. She's dead already and it's not like she's gonna haunt us down till we die. That's so childish.

Piper looked away from Gray and waited for the scienctist. Gray wasn't sad or mad or anything‚ he was just annoyed but what do you expect‚ it's Piper. Soon enough‚ the scienctist game back with two copies.

SCIENCTIST : Here's your copies! I can keep it in a file if you wa-

PIPER : Thanks.

Piper says as she immediately grabs the paper from the scienctist's hands‚ nearly tearing it apart as well. Piper walks away and exits the lab and Gray follows her. Gray just felt tired dealing with Piper's bratty behavior but it's not like they have to work together for a long time‚ THANKFULLY. The car from before was still outside the lab so they both enter the car and made their way to Lola's house to see if she really had a diary.

LOLA'S HOUSE

They both left the car and admired the exterior of Lola's house. It was that typical fancy celebrity house with the same white and brown colours. Gray thought it would be haunted as if it's a dead person's house but he honestly just believed in those silly myths. Surprisingly‚ there's literally nothing‚ no tapes saying "DO NOT ENTER" and all. It literally looked like a normal house in it's normal self. Gray wasn't complaining though‚ it was honestly less creepy like this. Gray saw Piper take pictures of the exterior in different angles. For what purpose you may ask? Gray doesn't honestly know but he didn't dare to ask. Piper slowly walked to the path to the door and Gray follows her as well. As Piper tried to open the door‚ it seemed to be completely stucked. Piper tried and tried to open it but nothing.

GRAY : Gosh‚ are you that weak?

Gray says‚ trying not to make a big deal out of it. Piper immediately stopped doing whatever she was doing and turned to Gray with a angry looked face.

PIPER : EXCAUSE ME? Try it for yourself. I DARE you to do it.

GRAY : Chillll‚ it's no big deal you know?

Gray chuckles and moved Piper out of his way and tried opening the door. About a minute passed and he's still trying. He could hear Piper's giggles but he just ignored it. As he was still trying his hardest to open it‚ a sudden bullet passed RIGHT under his arm. He immediately moved back and turned behind‚ seeing Piper with her umbrella as always which wasn't weird or anything.

GRAY : WHAT WAS THAT BULLET.

PIPER : Oh I don't know?

Piper opens her umbrella and it took Gray about five seconds to realize it was a LITERAL sniper. What? That was his honest reaction.

GRAY : ARE YOU CRAZY? YOU NEARLY SHOT ME?

PIPER : Gosh I have aim. I know where I'm shooting at. Anyways just unlock the door from behind through the hole I made.

Gray just stared at her with fear for three seconds before unlocking the door. He was shocked but not shocked at the same time after realizing Piper carried a disgused sniper with her the whole time but what was in his mind was how his hand could BURST. He opened the door and they both entered Lola's house.

LOLA'S HOUSE

They finally entered Lola's house after a whole decade of trying to open the door and arguing but they made it through. Like the exterior‚ the interior looked normal as well. Maybe just a bit dirty but still looked like a normal house you find on the streets. Before Gray could actually admire the interior‚ Piper went straight upstairs to find Lola's room. Gray just didn't care until ten seconds later he could hear Piper screaming out his name.

PIPER : GRAY. COME UP HERE.

Gray jumped like those classic cartoon characters and fell on the floor due to her sudden voice. Trust me‚ it was REALLY loud. He got up and climbed the stairs to his way up. Honestly‚ Gray thought the house would have two elevators with five floors. The stairs was a bit fancy though so he quite liked it. As he finally made his way up‚ he searched for Piper and Gray could find her at the first room he saw. She was looking through different drawers and before Gray could even take a step in the room‚ she shouted really loudly.

PIPER : GO TO ANOTHER ROOM!

Gray didn't felt so startled like last time but he honestly wonder was in the world was wrong with Piper. She seems to be in a REALLY bad mood. He just decided to ignore it and go through other rooms. He actually didn't look through the rooms so well as he only looked for the rooms that ACTUALLY looked like a bedroom. Finally‚ he was at the last room and he saw Piper in it as well. He just took a step IN CASE but Piper didn't seem to care this time. Thank god. He helped Piper look through but he only seemed to find awards and plushies until he found this pink book with no words on it.

GRAY : Yo look‚ I found this book.

Piper immediately snatched it from him and opened the book to see what it was about. Surprise‚ surprise‚ it's Lola's diary.!

PIPER : So the rumors were true. Let's see what's the fuse about.

Piper swiped through the pages one by one and she could tell that Lola was depressed. Like REALLY depressed. Sentences like "I wanna kill myself so bad" or "Why can't I just disappear?" was written a lot. Piper was quite surprised. A super star that seemed really happy actually felt like this. Wow. Gray looked over Piper to see the book and you could tell he was SHOCKED. I mean this man is always shocked but anyways. Finally‚ Piper reached the last page of the diary.

Dear Diary‚

This day. Tuesday‚ 23th April 2298 if officially my last day on this horrible and tragic world. I made this deal with a criminal named Bull. I just can't shoot myself.. Get what I mean? I need someone to just shoot me on the head and I can just die. I promised him some money so he would do it for me and I decided to meet him at the hub with my bodyguard. Did I forget the mention that I didn't even tell my bodyguard about this whole plan? But yeah. Well I don't really know what my fans will think about this like.. I hope nobody finds out my death and I just stay "missing". So goodbye dear diary. Last time writing here.
