Icarus

Icarus flew too close the sun and died happily even if he was in pain.

But isn't that what we all do everyday?

Don't we all fly too close to our loved ones only to be killed by their true form and still love them?

Don't we all die on the inside when we see the true form of our loved ones and still love them through the pain?

Don't some stay happy and grateful for the memories even though it's the source of the pain?

So why do we find what icarus did as something abnormal?

If it's anyone who's abnormal in this situation it's us not icarus.

Icarus didn't fly to the sun again in his new life.

Yet we do that again and again until it has completely killed our soul.

It's not Icarus that is doing something insane.

It's us.
