Ch. 14: Back 2 Square 1

By the time the Titan Squad and their allies woke up, they had found themselves in the den of the Noceda household with Camila looking over them with a cup of tea.

"¡JODER!(FUCK!)" Luz shouted as she shot up!

"¡Idioma!(Language!)" Camila scolded her.

"Why did Eda do that!?" Luz yelled, ignoring her mother. "We can help!"

"I know Luz but considering what that cult is after, I have to agree with Eda that you all need to stay here for now." Camila said as she sipped her tea.

Luz was not happy with this decision! She's fought against the false Titan that Belos became and won, she can become a full titan, and she can wipe these trappers off the face of the boiling planet if she wanted to.

"Did they really have to knock us out? I feel like my head is pounding like a piston." Amity said, rubbing her temples.

"I feel like I'm in scout training again, taking multiple hits to the head." Hunter groaned, still lying on the floor.

He wasn't a fan of that time in his life anymore.

"Ugh, my head feels like that time I did shrooms on a dare." Masha said as they got up.

"You didn't tell me that." Vee said, reverting back to basilisk form to ease the stress.

"They told me, they were tripping balls for 6 hours straight." Tracey said as Goose Willis rubbed against her head.

"So now what?" Gus asked, picking up his glasses and putting them back on.

"We get back to the cabin and use the door to her back!" Luz said as she got up from the floor.

"Actually, Eda thought you would do that. So, she shut down the portal door somehow." Camila said.

"WHAT!?" Luz yelled, almost unleashing a Bi Blast on instinct.

"HOW?!" King shouted, almost doing the same with his Roar of Rage.

"I think I had something to do with her anti magic, I'm not entirely sure how that fully works yet." Camila said before Luz ran for the cabin!

Not even opening but breaking through the back door like a cartoon character!

"MY DOOR!" Camila shouted as everyone stared at it.

"....We should follow her." Hunter said, shocked and awed.

"Yeah, probably a good idea." Vee said, transforming into a horse.

Everyone ran out of the house and headed to the cabin/second Noceda house in the woods.

Upon reaching the cabin, everyone saw Luz trying to open and close the door but only saw it was acting like a normal door to the inside of the cabin.

Becoming desperate, she used her fangs to cut her hand and put some Titan blood hand to make it work.

"Come on, work! Absorb my blood and work!" Luz shouted.

Pulling her hand back and watching her blood be "drunk" by the door, Luz waited for it to reach in a good way but was met with nothing. Not a single happened.

"FUCK! We're stuck on Earth all over again!" Luz shouted as she pulled her fist back.

Only for someone stop her by grabbing her wrist!

"Luz! Stop!" Amity said to her. "You're mad, I get that, but punching something, such as our ONLY portal, with the strength of a Titan, isn't going to help!"

Slowly, Luz managed to calm down as she turned to her girlfriend.

"I'm sorry but what else can I do?" Luz asked, putting her hand down slowly. "We're basically being benched while a cult is running rampant in our home!"

"You think you're upset?! What about fucking me?! Do you know what my kingdom is gonna do when they find out their queen is missing?!" Skara shouted, gesturing to herself.

Cat put an arm around Skara's waist.

"It'll be okay, take a deep breath, sweetie." Cat said.

"Kitten, I love you but it's not okay! It really is-" Skara was cut off my Cat pinching a nerve in her waist.

A calm came over her as she leaned into Cat's embrace with a smile.

"Sorry, but I had to make you relax with a simple pressure point pinch." Cat explained.

"Sometimes I hate dating a healer, you know exactly where to touch." Skara said, her head on Cat's shoulder.

"But that's also what you love about me." Cat said, wiggling her eyebrows.

"I know." Skara said with a guilty smile.

"Gross. Can we focus on getting back instead of being lovey dovey?" King said, looking away.

He was still too young to fully understand relationships, especially long distance ones.

"We... wait." Luz said, swallow a lump. "That's all we can do."

Luz grit her teeth as a bitter pit formed in her stomach, a pit she never wanted to form again.

A pit of helplessness.

Just like how the story started... they were stuck in the human realm... with no way back to the Isles.

"Come on, let's just...head back to the house." Amity said, guiding Luz away from the cabin. "We can think of a way around this later."

Everyone voiced their agreement as Luz was silent, just nodding as a small tear escaped her eye.
