#2. Out of the Dark

Wally hated seeing Dick like this. It was the anniversary of the day when his parents were killed. Dick just wanted to curl up into a ball and die, so he guessed burrying his feeling would work just as well. Wally knocked on Dick's bedroom door in Mount Justice

"Rob...?" Wally asked softly

"Go away" Dick's soft reply came

"I'm not going anywhere" Wally slid down the door and sat on the floor.

Dick was laying on his bed, facing the wall. He haf silent tears streaming down his cheeks. Wally tried the door and was surprised to find it unlocked. He entered the Dick's room and closed the door, locking it.

"Its better if tou dont hide yourself in a time of grieving, you know" Wally muttered

"I just want to be alone" Dick snapped

"I'm not leaving you like this" Wally shot back

Dick sat up and pulled off his sunglasses, showing glassy, watery baby blue eyes. Wally dat next to him and pulled him onto his lap, and hugged him comfortingly.

"You shouldn't be alone right now and i'm not leaving you alone to be in the dark" Wally said

Dick buried his head into Wally's chest and cried. For any other reason, Wally would've teased the Boy Wonder for crying, but this was different and he had to support his boyfriend through thick and thin. Dick wouldn't have admitted this, but he was glad for his stubborn and idiotic boyfriend.
