ᴡʜᴏᴅᴜɴɴɪᴛ? 𝙰𝚗 𝙽𝙼𝙸𝚇𝚇-𝙴𝚅𝙴𝚁𝙶𝙻𝙾𝚆 𝙼𝚞𝚛𝚍𝚎𝚛 𝙼𝚢𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚢

ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝟚: 𝕀𝕥 ℂ𝕠𝕟𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕦𝕖𝕤

"Did you all hear about Gaeul and Yujin?" Kyujin ran up to the group of eleven other girls.

"Yes, and now I'm so damn scared." Haewon replied shuddering, almost in tears as Sihyeon comforted her.

"Like apparently, I heard, the killer stabbed Gaeul so many times that by the time the body was to be taken to the morgue, there was no blood at all left in it. According to the reports, the body was fresh." Lily said.

"Let's please drop the discussion." Jiwon said.

"What else is there to talk about? Pipersville has literally been labelled the safest place on earth, and then this happens. How can we just let this go?" Eunji spoke, looking downcast.

"I know, but it's not exactly respectful to that person." Yiren supported as she replied. That's when they saw Heeseung, Gaeul's boyfriend.

"I feel so, so bad for him." Yoorim said.

"I know, he doesn't deserve to be this sad." Haewon said as she got up and made her way to him. She stood in front of him, as they stared at each other. She then at once hugged him. He hugged her back and began crying on her shoulder.

"Why are you doing this?" He asked her.

"I don't care." She replied.

"I left you all alone for her. And you're still here?" He said between sobs.

"I never left you know?" she said and wiped away his tears as she smiled at him.

"Let's meet in class?" He asked.

"I'm saving a space for you." Haewon laughed and they separated.

"I can't believe you two are still friends." Jinsol said.

"I can't ever let him go." Haewon said, reliving the memory of that day.

Flashback

Haewon and Heeseung were walking down the hall.

"I'm going to confess to Gaeul, but I don't think I should tell Haewon. She's not going to be happy." Heeseung thought. He suddenly saw crowd, Gaeul was kissing another guy. Heeseung ran over to them, grabbing the guy off Gaeul, throwing him away.

"Heeseung!" She screamed as he turned back to her.

"You. Are. Mine. Got it?" he said as he smashed his lips on Gaeul's. Then they heard a gasp.

"H-Heeseung." Haewon stuttered.

"Haewon, look I don't care what you say, but I like Gaeul and that's final." He said and dragged Gaeul off with him, leaving Haewon super sad.

End Flashback

"Oh, there goes the bell." Jiwoo said as she heard it ring.

"We should leave, see you guys later." Yoona said and they all separated.

Haewon and Lily went to music, Yoona and Serim left for biology, Jiwon and Yiren went to theatre, Kyujin and Yoorim went to history, Eunji and Jinsol went to art and Sihyeon and Jiwoo went to dance class. Then after their classes were over, they left the school building. Everyone had rides, except Yoona.

"Yooni, want to come home with me?" Lily said.

"Nah, I'm going to walk." Yoona replied.

"That isn't the safest choice, considering there is a killer on the loose." Lily said.

"I'm going to be fine. It was probably a one-time thing." Yoona said.

"Fine, but is there anyone else at home with you?" Lily asked.

"Nope, mom's out of town and dad must probably be at work." Yoona said.

"Look, please call if you're scared, I'll pick you, got it?" Lily said.

"Of course, Li." Yoona said and went on her way to her house. She reached and got in, safely locking the doors. Then she got a call.

"Hello?" Yoona spoke.

"Hey!" A familiar voice said on the other end.

"Oh hey! What're you up to?" Yoona said. Thirsty, she went straight to the water cooler and grabbed some cold water.

"Nothing, but you know Yoona, if I were you, I wouldn't have drunk water from the cooler." The voice said.

"What do you mean?" Yoona asked. And then she understood what it meant. Within a second, she dropped the glass and fell to the floor, choking. She started coughing and spitting out blood, meaning that she had been poisoned. She tried to get to her phone, but fell flat on her face, now dead. Her father came after a few hours, and seeing her on the floor, he at once called 911.

"Hello? M-My daughter is dead, and the killer is here. Please send someone!" He screamed into the phone.

"Sir, calm down and tell us your address." The officer on the line replied.

"It's 233, West- AAH!" Her father screamed as a knife plunged into him.

"Sir! Can you hear us, sir?" The officer tried reaching the now dead man but availed no luck.

"Sir, is dead." A raspy, intelligible voice spoke as it cut the phone. The figure quickly disappeared into the dead of night, not leaving a single trace. The police arrived soon, trying to trace the person. But they found nothing.

"Seems to be an outside source." The cops said. 

"Once again, all her friends seem to have been away. But it's best to interrogate everyone on the group chat." The cop said.    

The next morning

"YOU ALL! Yooni's dead!" Yiren said as she ran into the classroom with a horrified look on her face.

"WHAT?!" Everyone simultaneously spoke.

"How?" Lily asked.

"She and her father were found dead in their home. There is no trace of the killer yet." Yiren gasped before she began crying.

"No way!" Jiwon slumped into her seat.

"I can't believe this. What's going on?" Sihyeon squealed.

"Our friends are being killed like flies in a swatter." Eunji said.

"We have to stay safe, or else we'll join them too." Serim said.

Meanwhile- In a group chat, elsewhere, within the killers

K1- I cannot believe killing is this easy!

K2- Easy until people begin suspecting you.

K1- Suspect? Me? Come on, I thought you knew me better than that.

K3- Careful. I don't want you all to get caught.

K2- Alright miss madame.
