"I think that we need to be really careful now." Jiwon said, and everyone nodded.
"I'm leaving town soon." Yoorim spoke up out of nowhere.
"What?!" The entire group gasped in surprise.
"Dad said it isn't safe for me here anymore." Yoorim said.
"That's true, but I thought we planned to stick together." Eunji said.
"I know, but dad isn't going to let me stay here any longer." Yoorim finished as a heavy silence hung around the group.
"Keep texting, and please be careful, anything can happen anywhere." Jiwoo sighed.
"I will." Yoorim said and they all hugged.
"When though?" Yiren questioned.
"Today, maybe in the evening." And as Yoorim said that, a car pulled up.
"Yoorim, I packed your stuff up. I think we should leave as early as possible." Yoorim's dad, who was driving the car said.
"Oh. I guess this is goodbye." Yoorim said.
"Yun, we're going to miss you so much." Haewon said as she hugged the girl.
"I'm going to miss you guys more." Yoorim said as she hugged everyone else. She then got into the car and waved to everyone as the car slowly drove away. They all sighed and dispersed.
Killertown🔪
K1- Damnit!
K3- Hey at least we have one less person to kill.
K1- Yeah, but I wanted to spill some more blood.
K2- Calm down sweetie, she'll be back, I know it.
K3- Wait... what did you do?
K2- I might or might not have emptied her gas tank.
K1- Girl, that is amazing! They won't make it out of town before their car breaks down.
K2- Learn from me you!
K3- Let's not get too cocky. If Yoorim's father is dedicated, he'll get her out no matter what.
K1- And it's our job to make sure he doesn't. Like come on, we've murdered people. Stopping someone leaving town isn't that hard.
K2- She's right. We have to make them suffer, like they made us.
K3- Anyways, let's leave, the other girls will be suspicious of us. And remember the pact, burn this group chat after everyone is gone.
K1- Yes ma'am.
K2- Of course.
The three girls left the group chat. Meanwhile, Yoorim's car elsewhere ran out of gas.
"Dad, we're stranded!" Yoorim said.
"Look, we aren't going back to town Yoorim." Her dad said.
"But what is the problem with going back?" She whined.
"Heo Yoorim, there is a serial killer on the loose back there. It's too dangerous!" Her father said sternly.
"So now what? We just go to some shady motel on the side of the road?" She asked sarcastically.
"I guess, it's a better choice." Her father said which made her mouth fall open.
"What?! No way! Apparently, a gated community with police on alert is too dangerous, but some unknown motel with little to no security is fine?" Yoorim screamed.
"An unknown motel only makes it easier for us to hide sweetheart!" Her father said.
"I can't think of hiding anywhere knowing back in town someone might be getting attacked because I moved out of the way!" Yoorim said.
"That's not true Yoorim! It's better for us. Right now, we aren't thinking of anyone else!" Her father said.
"I cannot believe you are this selfish!" She said to his face before moving to the back of the car to check for extra fuel reserves. There she found a canister, but there was just enough to drive back into town. She was lucky.
"If I find out someone was assaulted in town when I wasn't there, I'm going to flip." And true to form, as Yoorim had said, a phone call arrived for her.
"Jinsol? I wonder what happened." Yoorim said before picking up the call.
"Yoorim! The killer struck again!" She said and that made Yoorim almost drop her phone.
"W-Who is it?" Yoorim asked as her voice trembled which drew her father's attention.
"Almost. It's Haewon, she's in the hospital. She's barely living." Jinsol said between choked sobs.
"W-What happened?" Yoorim asked.
"Lily opened the door to find a bruised and stabbed Haewon. There were cuts everywhere." Jinsol croaked.
"I'm on my way." Yoorim said and cut the call. She forced her father into the passenger seat as she refilled the gas just enough to get back to town and drove back.
Earlier- Haewon's POV
I was regularly doing my work as suddenly I heard glass break somewhere. I went to investigate when I realised that someone had broken in. Damnit, no! What if it's the killer? Before I could react any further, someone pushed me down to the floor and plunged a knife into my back. They then sat on top of me to prevent me from going anywhere. I groaned and hissed in pain thinking do what to do next.
"HEY!" I screamed suddenly which instructed the person enough for me to get them off me. But as I got up, they caught hold of me and pushed my back against theirs, causing the knife to drive in further.
"AAH!" I said and pushed them off. I pulled the knife and tried to stab the person, but because I couldn't move properly and they were too fast, I missed. They grabbed my head and hit it against the counter, after which I tried to grab their hand and twist it. But that was a bad idea, as they instantly retaliated by flipping me over their head and onto the floor. But I managed to get up and push them towards a glass cabinet, which caused it to break on their head.
"WHY WON'T YOU JUST DIE?!" The voice screamed, and I knew who it was. I didn't say anything. She tried pushing me back onto the floor. But I wasn't going down this easy. I splashed some water on her face before she could move again. I ran over to the living room. She ran over to me and pushed me into the TV, which caused the huge TV to fall on me and break down, injecting small pieces of glass into my skin. I grunted in pain. I got up and threw a flower vase at her. I could not feel either of my hands anymore, there was blood everywhere, on the walls, on the floor and on the furniture. But I didn't care. I just wanted to escape. Confused and dazed in my thoughts, I didn't notice her coming towards me as she grabbed me harshly and swung me onto the floor, hurting me in every place on my body. I was so weak, I couldn't think of getting up, which she took as opportunity. She immediately straddled me and then started drawing cuts on my hand. I managed to gather some strength and pushed her off, before running over to Lily's house to protect myself.
"Oh my god Haewon!" She screamed before letting me in. I crashed onto the floor, and she grabbed me and took me to the couch.
"But your furniture will stain with blood." I pouted.
"How can I care about it? You're literally half-dead here Haewon, and the furniture can be washed at any time." She concluded before calling for an ambulance.
"Hi, my friend is injured-..." Is all I heard her say before I passed out.
