Y/N's POV-

As soon as we reached the hospital, I dashed towards the reception, my heart pounding with anxiety. Mr. Kim casually followed me, his presence looming over me like a dark cloud. I was about to approach the receptionist when he interrupted, his voice cold and authoritative, "Don't bother others, just follow me." Reluctantly, I obeyed, silently trailing behind him as we made our way to the critical care unit.

Entering the room, my eyes immediately found my oppa lying in the hospital bed. Without a second thought, I rushed to his side, dropping to my knees beside him. Tears streamed down my cheeks uncontrollably as I reached out to touch his hand, my voice choked with emotion as I whispered, "Oppa..."

Mr. Kim stood by the doorway, observing the scene with a detached expression. He didn't say anything, but his presence felt suffocating.

My fingers trembled as they brushed against my brother's hand, seeking some connection, some sign of life. Oppa lay there, pale and still, connected to various machines that monitored his condition. It was heartbreaking to see him like this, so vulnerable and fragile.

Through tear-blurred vision, I whispered words of love and reassurance, hoping against hope that he could hear me, that he knew I was there. "Oppa, it's me, your princess. I'm here with you. Please, wake up..."

As we left the hospital room, I couldn't contain my gratitude. "Will you allow me to come here daily? Please?" I pleaded, looking at Mr. Kim with hopeful eyes.

He paused, his expression inscrutable. "Fine," he finally relented, "but bodyguards will accompany you all the time."

Relief flooded through me, but I couldn't help but feel a pang of uncertainty. "Thank you," I managed, though the words felt hollow.

He simply nodded, and we made our way out of the hospital. The presence of his bodyguards loomed large, a constant reminder of the new reality I found myself in.

As we left the hospital room, I couldn't help but ponder over Mr. Kim's demeanour. His expressions were unreadable, leaving me to wonder: is he truly a heartless monster, or does he possess a sliver of sympathy hidden beneath his tough exterior? The fact that he agreed to let me visit my brother daily hinted at a complexity I hadn't expected. Perhaps there was more to him than met the eye. Don't know may be there is any hidden motive of his.

Jungkook's POV-

I muttered to myself, my voice trembling with rage, "I won't let you off the hook, Kim Taehyung. How dare you take her away from me!" With a fierce surge of anger, I swept everything off the table, the clatter echoing through the room as I screamed at the top of my lungs, releasing the pent-up frustration boiling within me.

Amidst the chaos of my shattered rage, a knock echoed through the room. Startled, I turned to see a man cautiously entering, his expression a mixture of concern and caution.

"Sir, is everything alright? I heard some commotion," the man inquired, his voice laced with apprehension.

I glared at him, my eyes burning with intensity as I struggled to contain the tempest within. "Does it look like everything's alright?" I snapped, gesturing to the scattered debris littering the floor.

The man took a hesitant step back, his eyes widening slightly at the force of my anger. "I-I'm sorry, sir. I just wanted to make sure you were okay," he stammered, clearly unnerved by my demeanour.

I let out a frustrated growl, running a hand through my hair as I tried to regain control of my emotions. "I'm fine," I muttered, though the words rang hollow even to my own ears.

The man hesitated, lingering in the doorway for a moment longer before finally nodding and retreating from the room, leaving me alone with my tumultuous thoughts and the wreckage of my fury.
