As they continue to work on their homework, they all seem to feel a sense of relief in finally having some leads about the Drakes. This new information about Rigel could potentially be the key they needed to uncover the mystery of the Drakes. Harry and Ron were excited about the new leads and Hermione was fascinated at how convenient it was that the yearbook had fallen on her head. She was starting to wonder if it was all just luck or if there was something more sinister at play.

The trio tries their best to find out more about Rigel Drake but they quickly realized that research information about him was scarce. It seemed like every time they looked for any information about him all they could find was dead ends which frustrated them especially Hermione who was beginning to believe that someone didn't want them to find out more about the Drakes.

As the end of the school year approached, they realized they would have to spend more time studying for their end of year exams. This would leave them with little time to investigate Rigel or the Drakes. Hermione was growing increasingly frustrated with the fact that they were making so little progress in this mystery. She felt like she was running out of time to answer the questions about the Drakes that had been swirling in her mind. She started to feel the pressure of all the study that she had to do all while trying to investigate the Drakes in her spare time.

Hermione was studying in the library when she suddenly sees Cygnus come in hand in hand with Luna. Hermione immediately becomes angered and annoyed by the sight of the two of them together. Cygnus's laughter and jokes with Luna infuriated her, causing her to grind her teeth in annoyance. Hermione didn't know why she was so upset with this, but she couldn't help but feel a surge of jealousy boiling inside her.

Hermione tries her best to stay calm and keep her composure, reminding herself that their investigation was more important than his interaction with Luna. There was no point in getting jealous over something like this. That said, the thought of Cygnus joking and laughing with another girl did not sit well with her.

As Cygnus and Luna were chatting at their table, Luna suddenly notices Hermione trying to study. She notices her looking over to their table and says in her usual whimsical tone. "She looks jealous." Luna's observation instantly peaks Cygnus's curiosity enough for him to look over to the direction she pointed to. When he spotted Hermione, he also saw her trying to focus on her book.

"Really?" Cygnus asks amused, he was finding this situation quite amusing. Especially since, Hermione, Potter, and Weasley have been trying to figure out more about his family. His older brother, Pisces, honestly found the trio's attempts to find out more about them annoying but in Cygnus's opinion he found it amusing how the trio are trying their best to know more about the Drakes.

"Yes, she definitely looks jealous." Luna responds calmly still looking at Hermione with her usual dreamy expression. "You should do something about that, Cygnus." She adds with a wistful smile on her face. Cygnus couldn't help but grin at this comment before looking back over to Hermione who hadn't noticed them discussing her. He was actually starting to enjoy the fact that the trio had been trying to find out more about the Drakes while he had kept silent about it. It was almost satisfying in a way.

"Pisces would have my head if he found out, Luna." Cygnus jokes making Luna giggle. Pisces won't really care, since his older brother was basically nonchalant about nearly everything. "Oh come on, Pisces wouldn't be that mad." Luna counters before going back to giggling. "Plus, I think that girl is starting to like you, so maybe we can use that to our advantage." She continues, smiling at him before saying, "Maybe we can get her to stop investigating your family if she was dating you."

"I don't know, I rather find it amusing that her and her friends are trying to find out more about my family. Let's just watch and see how much they would find out." Cygnus says grinning mischievously, he decides he would rather watch the whole situation playing out from afar while enjoying the fact that the trio wasn't getting anywhere in their investigation about him and his family. He thought it was amusing to watch them try to uncover details about his family but they always hit dead ends every time. It was almost satisfying knowing that they weren't able to figure him out. Cygnus was actually starting to enjoy the whole cat and mouse game. Luna giggles nodding her head in agreement.

Hermione is sitting in Herbology trying to pay attention to Professor Sprout's lesson, but she can't quite get rid of the image of Cygnus and Luna at the library. Her mind kept replaying the scene of Cygnus's laughter and joking with Luna, which caused her to feel a hint of jealousy. She knew she shouldn't be feeling that way but she just couldn't shake the feeling that something about them together made her feel uncomfortable.

"Hermione? Are you alright?" Neville asks snapping Hermione out of her thoughts. She looks up and gives him a small nod. "Sorry, I was just... thinking about something." Neville looked like he was about to asks her another question when Hermione suddenly hears a loud crash coming from the direction of the green house. She immediately turns around to see what the noise was only to see Cygnus in a rather awkward landing in the Greenhouse with one of his Ravenclaw friend flying over laughing. The Flying Lesson Professor (Houche) quickly flies over to reprimand the boys while Hermione's attention is now fully on this sudden spectacle.

"Geez, I never should have agreed to race you, Alistair." Cygnus says grinning to his blonde friend. Alistair laughs, his green eyes shine in amusement as Professor Houche gives them both detention.
