Chapter 17 Aftermath

I opened my eyes to see blue. 

"Is this... heaven? Was it all a dream?"

 i said with a low voice. But no, i could see Rei and Amber almost next to me. Sylph was on the other side of me. Now white haired. I prefer this version. I had kept 70% or so of my mana specifically for this. Everyone woke up right after me. 

"WHERE ARE WE?"

 Amber screamed. 

"Bwoda I'm scared"

 Rei said 

"KYAAA"

 Sylph screamed. 

"Eris! Are you save?" Soros and Philip asked.

"Yeah!"

 "DON'T WORRY, I WILL USE WIND MAGIC TO PUT 3 LAYERS OF WIND BARIER. THAT SHOULD BREAK THE FALL BUT STILL, BRACE YOURSELF!"

 This wasn't going to be easy, but it was good. We were atleast not teleported to another place. Now that we were skydiving, a rush came, it was kind of fun! But it didn't last long. I had made the wind barriers more wide for more safety. Should be fine... i hoped. We fell, and it didn't take long before we were on the ground i closed my eyes, and so did everyone else. But we made it. After though, guards came running 

"WHO ARE YOU!" 

"Ah... Keep everyone save for a few days..."

 i was clean out of mana. I made wind barriers off intermediate level and that 24 times. Pretty logical. Damn it.  

I woke up in bed. wasn't luxurious but at least it gave me happiness. This meant either Ariel was kind enough to not immediately kill us or i was the only one whom passed out. I looked next to me to see Rei. 

"BWODA!" 

"Seems i was out for some time. Are you okay?" 

"Y-yes"

 she said sobbing. 

"Aww Rei, did i make you worry?" 

"Yes"

 she said fidgeting with her small hands. 

"A real lot?" 

"Yeah..." 

"A real real lot?" 

"Yes..." 

"Like as much as the moon?" 

"Yes!"

 she jumped in my arms. Later Sylph, now white-haired, came and Amber followed her. All now hugging me. 

"A + S you made us worry idiot!"

 "I did, didn't i?" 

"A+S Yeah!" 

"I'm sorry. Where are we anyway?" 

"R In a bwig pwace!"

 cute. 

"Oh" 

"She meant a palace. We were brought in by none other than the princess of Asura" 

"W-WHAT!"

 i act surprised. They told me everything about everything. No changes from the main story were made. We kept talking small talk about how i felt until Eris's party came in. 

"Hmph! I thought you were stronger!" 

then Ariel came in with Luke. 

"Ar *2 characters with A in name so now it will be Ar and Am* Hello, are you feeling better?"
