The thought of exploring the city with Lucis made my heart race. I couldn't help but feel giddy at the prospect of spending the day together, just the two of us. "That sounds like fun," I said, my voice a little shaky. "Let's do that."

Lucis grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Great! I've always wanted to show you around the city. There's so much to see and do here." He slipped out of bed, pausing to stretch his muscular body before throwing on a pair of black sweatpants and a loose T-shirt. The fabric hugged his athletic frame perfectly, outlining his defined abs and broad shoulders.

I climbed out of bed, feeling a bit self-conscious as I reached for my clothes. My outfit was much more modest than Lucis's: a pair of faded jeans a loose, flowy blouse, and a pair of black heeled booties. As I pulled it on, I couldn't help but wonder what my classmates would say if they knew I was spending the day with the city's most popular and sought-after guy.

"Are you ready?" Lucis asked, his voice soft and inviting.

"yeah, but if you don't mind can you help me with my hair" I asked as I sat down on a stool by the vanity. Lucis came behind me, his strong hands running through my long, messy hair. "There's a beautiful girl in here," he murmured, brushing a strand of hair behind my ear. His touch sent a shiver down my spine.

"Thanks," I said, blushing. "And I think you look pretty good yourself." He grinned, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "do you want me to braid it?" he asked, reaching for a hair tie. I hesitated for a moment "You still remember how?" I asked. He laughed, his breath tickling my ear. "Of course I do. You taught me, remember?" I smiled, remembering that day when we first met. It seemed like a lifetime ago.

He expertly began to braid my hair, his fingers moving with a practiced ease. As he worked, I couldn't help but feel a sense of calm wash over me. "your hair got long" he said as he worked. "I remember when I first met you, it was much shorter do you remember the nickname I gave you "shrubbery"? I laughed, remembering that nickname. "Yes, I do remember that," I said. "And I must admit, I've grown quite fond of you calling me Scar now." He chuckled, finishing with the braid and tying it off. "There you go," he said, stepping back to admire his handiwork. "You look beautiful." "Scar you forgot the other nickname," he said with a grin. "You called me Lionheart remember?" I smiled back at him. "Yes, I remember that too." there's another one that I had for you," he said with a mischievous glint in his eye. "I called you red" he chuckled. I felt my cheeks heat up a little." hey I thought we agreed not to speak of that" I said chasing him around the room, laughing. "It's true, you know it is," he said, dodging me playfully. "And it's not like you don't like being called red, right?" I pinned him against the bed, my hands on his shoulders. "Maybe..." I whispered, feeling my heart race. "Maybe I do like it a little." He grinned, his eyes burning into mine. "Well then," he said, his voice husky, "I'll have to remember that the next time we're alone." And with that, he leaned in, his lips finding mine in a passionate kiss. "so are you ready to go" he said, pulling back for air. "I am," I replied, feeling giddy from the kiss. "Lead the way." He took my hand, his fingers intertwining with mine, and led me out of the bedroom and into the day.

As we walked through the city, hand in hand, I couldn't help but marvel at how different things felt with him by my side. The once-bustling streets seemed to fade into the background as we wandered, lost in our little world. He showed me his favorite parks, and the best-hidden cafes, and even took me to an art gallery where we spent hours admiring the paintings together. It was like we were the only two people in the world, and everything else faded away.

"I smell croissants," I said as we walked past a small bakery. "Do you think they have any?" Lucis asked, his eyes lighting up. "I think we should find out." We went inside and were immediately greeted by the warm, sweet smell of freshly baked pastries. A young woman with a flour-covered apron smiled at us from behind the counter. "Hello, welcome to our little bakery. What can I get for you two lovebirds today?" she asked, giving us a knowing wink.

"We'll take two chocolate croissants and two coffees, please," Lucis said, grinning at the woman's reaction. I couldn't help but blush at the way she flirted with him. "Oh, I think you've made my day, handsome," she said, winking again. "They're right over there," she pointed to a small table in the corner, "enjoy your breakfast."

We thanked her and made our way to the table, our arms still linked. Lucis pulled out a chair for me and then sat down himself, his body angled towards mine. The scent of the croissants filled the air as we watched each other over steaming cups of coffee. "So," he said, taking a sip of his drink, "what did you think of the art gallery?"

"It was incredible," I replied, taking a bite of my croissant. "I've never seen anything like it."

We ate in silence for a moment, savoring the sweet and buttery pastry. "I'm glad you enjoyed it," Lucis said finally. "It's one of my favorite places in the city." He paused, his expression turning serious. "You know, if you ever want to see more of the world, I'd be more than happy to take you anywhere you want to go." His words sent a shiver down my spine. "I'd like that," I whispered, looking up at him. "To travel with you, I mean."

Finishing our breakfast, we gathered our things and continued our stroll through the city. The sun was beginning to set, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange. "Where to now, my lovely?" Lucis asked, taking my hand in his. "I've had the best time today, just being with you." I smiled up at him, feeling a warmth spread through my chest. "There's this little park I've always wanted to visit," I replied. "It's supposed to have the most beautiful cherry blossom trees in the city."
