the silence between indigo and I was painful, she abruptly spoken "have you been cheating on me george?" my head shakes quickly "in all honesty, I had no idea we were in an actual relationship?" I say slightly, a little bit of attitude coming from my ton of voice
indigo looks at me with a very sad expression "wouldn't all of the dates kind of hint that?! the kisses, hanging out all of the time did you not even think about the fact that I like you! really, really like you" her voice raises as she makes large gestures with her hands.
my answer to her statement doesn't exist. I just sit and listen to her shout at me. one thing she said made me break my silence.
❝it wasn't ever me was it? its always been iris"
the worst part is that she's completely true. "why did you still try to get with me if you knew that? did you only have a crush on me because you don't like iris? is that what's it's all about!"
"how could I not like iris! she is so likeable it's annoying. I knew I'd never stand a chance if she was around" indigo yelled back with a snarl on her face.
"if you think being rude about iris is gonna make me actually want to be around you, you don't know me at all indigo" she huffs, throwing her arms into the air
"get out george" she shouts, the loudest she has been yet, pointing a finger at my chest and shoving me slightly.
"gladly, leave me and all my friend alone indigo." I pause before saying the most important thing this whole interaction. I turn to face the door and slightly stomp out.

"hey mate, where were you?" a small man peaks up from behind the sofa. "with indigo" i with a small smile, not for the reason he would think. "im assuming it went well?" chris smirked at me with a small chuckle. "we actually broke up" chris' face immediately drops "shit im sorry!" he stands up in an attempt to hug me.
"no no! don't worry it's good" a singular eyebrow of his raises as I say an official break up announcement. "glad you finally came to your senses and broke up with her then!" I shake my head as his eyes widen.
"she broke up with you? I can't lie george that's really funny" he bursts into laughter, wiping tears from his eyes and he hysterically laughs in my face.
