Chapter 2 : Five o'clock

They day had dragged by, she waited for the final bell so she could get on her bus and meet the boy once again. School had finally finished and she rushed to the bus before the doors were opened, she was the first on and she quietly waited for the boy with in the red and gray jacket. minutes had passed and she continued to wait for the boy to get on the bus, it was time for all the buses to leave the lot and her bus started to leave the lot, she hoped the boy would appear from nowhere but she knew that wouldn't happen that isn't possible she thought to herself
"Hey!" She had jumped back realizing the boy had been next to her. "Hey where'd you come from?"
He looked at her mystified,
"I've been sitting here the whole time." She had looked at him, with her face redder than a tomato, "Oh my god, Trevelyan I am to sorry I didn't notice you again." he looked at her with an expressionless face,
"It's okay."
She looked back up at him
"Are you sure?" She looked up at him his sunglasses had been covering his eyes.
"Yea we're cool just it's odd how you can never sense my presence." he turned back and continued to look towards the front. She pushed back her bangs and got close to him,
"Ummm... Trevelyan can I see your eyes?" He nodded at her and lowered his glasses, he had a red eye and a blue eye. she looked at him mystified she thought she was the only one with the mutation.
"Hey, Trevelyan it's cool you're a mutant too." She exclaimed.
He looked at her,"What do you mean? I'm not a mutant."
"But your eyes they're different colors."
"Yea but I'm not a mutant."
She looks at him with fearful eyes thinking she won't get to hangout with him,
"Look I didn't mean anything by that, I'm sorry."
"I think that you need to grow a back bone and stop taking everything you say back it's proving how weak of a person you truly are, and I'm not mad at you so calm down."
She looked at him with relief, while he looked ahead. He looked over to her,
"Look, I know that we are gonna meet and I want you to know that I'll meet you at your house just be ready by the time I get the ok."
She nodded in response,"Wait why can't we meet at your house.
"Don't ask dumb question please."
He was so rude to her but she was so oddly attracted to him. The bus had stopped and had gotten up to get off he walked off the bus and to a house that she had never recognized before.
But she didn't care, once th bus had stopped she just walked off and back up to her house. She rushed in side and up to her room. She tossed aside her bag in stripped down in the mirror, she was a rather slender girl and she had a weak physical appearance she had reasonable large breasts that were usually covered by her long red hair but as she looked up and down her body she had been too pale and kinda scrawny since practically forever, which what it was like for her to be seventeen, it was practically eternity she couldn't wait to be eighteen. She had left the had left to her bath room and took a hot shower and once she had gotten out she had gone through her wardrobe looking for something nice to wear when she was gonna hang out with Trevelyan. She had searched for twenty minutes until she had found this dress that was white with blue flames she tried it on and she had felt beautiful I was tight and yet loose she went through her closet and she pulled out a pair of white heels, she had did her make up and she had looked at at herself in the mirror,
"Yea I'm pretty good looking."
She looked at the time and had realized that it was four fifty five she rushed down the stairs and told her mom, "Mom, um do you mind if a boy comes he wants to hang out?"
"Yes honey, what's the young mans name?"
"Trevelyan."
"NO!" She exclaimed "I don't want that boy near you Persephone do you understand?"
"But mom-"
"NO, NO MORE QUESTION." she interjected. Persephone remembered the words Trevelyan said and she looked her mother in the eye,
"NO I WANNA SEE HIM YOU CRUEL EVIL BITCH!"
The air was still, the room was silent, she had looked to her mother and thought to herself what she had done. "Mom... I'm sorr-"
HISSSSSSSSSSSSS
Her mother lunged at her,
"MOM!!!!" She dove out of the way and rushed for the door. Her mother grabbed her by the leg and dragged her back.
"Mother, please I'm sorry let me go, didn't mean it please, I'm sorry!"
Her mother had changed her skin changing to a dark maroon color, her arms lengthen and claws extend from her fingers, she slashes at her face. Her life flashes before her eyes til it stops and she notices she's still alive, she looks up at him. Trevelyan stood in front of her blocking the attack
"TREVELYAN!?"
"Sup" he waved at her with his open hand. He swung a sword in the other. He stood bravely in front of her mother "I'll protect you Persephone!" "Back the fuck up!" He forced her back. He sliced at her stomach,"MOM!" She pushed him out of the way and reached for her mother,"How dare you hurt my mother." She looked down at her mom, the wound was spewing black blood."Mom?" She looked her in the face, HISSSSSSSSSS. Her mother leaped up at her and clawed at her face. "HEY!!! THOUGHT I TOLD YOU BACK THE FUCK UP!!" He jumped in the way and slashed her mother off. "WHAT IS SHE!?!?" She crawled behind Trevelyan. "She's a demon."  The demon jumped at them he swung with all his might, and hit her out of the way. "I will protect you, Persephone I'll go through hell again to protect you!"
