Next morning Khushi and Manish woke up a little late than normal. They were exhausted from yesterdays events. Khushi got out of bed as she did her normal morning routine before she headed down and Manish headed to do his.

Shruti:"Oh beta come na. Are you okay now?"

Khushi:"Ji maa.."

Shruti:"umm Is Manu okay?"

Khushi:"Ji maa. Don't worry we both are fine"

Shurti nodded as she turned to instruct the servants to pack some food for the travel. Khushi frowned hearing this. What travel? Were they headed some where?

Khushi:"Maa, are you going somewhere?"

Shruti:"Oh yes beta. See you and Manish are heading to your house today, So Papa suggested we visit the sunshine orphanage. You know Papa has supported that orphanage since it was first made. It's close to Papa's heart. Maa used to love it a lot. Papa visits it every time he really misses maa."

Khushi:"Maa should we canc..."

Shurti:"No no no. Beta you go home and enjoy. I know you might miss your family a lot. We'll go there some other time again. Plus yesterday after Manu and..All that incident it will be good to take him away from here for some times."

Khushi:(nodded)"Is the orphanage far?"

Shurti:"It's a 3 to 4 hours drive. We should be back by night. Or if papa's tried then maybe tomorrow. Don't worry. I'll keep you updated. You just enjoy your time with your family"

Khushi sighed internally as she nodded her head. How could she tell Shruti that she can never enjoy with Chacha and Chachi. But yes she was happy she would meet Dadi after a long time and Even her Bua. She was just praying internally that things turn out fine. She didn't want Manish to get hurt, angered or sad in any way. His mood was already ruined yesterday.

Soon enough, Everyone was seated at the breakfast table. Manish was also informed of the rest of the malhotra family going on the trip. Though he was disappointment to not be able to join them as he enjoyed these trips with Dadu a lot but he knew that today Khushi's Visit to her old home was more important.

The rest of the Malhotra Family left right after breakfast as their journey was long while Manish instructed all the servants to get a day off as the house would be empty the whole day. Meanwhile Khushi was in her room, taking out gifts for Dadi and Bua. Though Manish didn't want to but Khushi had even gotten few gifts for Chachi and Chacha as well from the honeymoon trip.

Manish entered the room and saw Khushi busy keeping the gifts on the bed while She was looking through few saari's to wear.

Manish:(going towards her as he took her in a back hug)"What are you doing?"

Khushi:(smiled in his arms as she picked up the saari's)"Which one should I wear?"

Manish:(leaving her as he looked through their wardrobe)"How about this dress?"(He said as he pulled out a western dress)
