Next morning brought a new start of things. The bright sun light shined through the patio door and window as it fell on top of Manish disturbing his sleep. He pulled the covers over his head as he turned to the other direction in half sleep. His arms tried to wrap around his wife only to feel a pillow came in his arms making him frown more as he moved the blanket off to look around the room.
His eyes struggled to stay open for more then 2 seconds as they darted towards the dressing table where his wife stood only in her blouse and paticoat. He watched on almost hypnotized as she unwrapped her wet hair from the towel drying it. He froze, his eye never leaving her as he watched her swing her hair back and grab the Saari to wrap around herself. He looked on with utter most fascination as she wrapped the Saari around her waist tugging it in her paticoat while the end of the Saari hung loosely over her shoulder. She set her Saari properly before setting the Pallu over her shoulder and pinning it up. As Khushi looked into the mirror her eyes landed on Manish who was by now wide awake looking at her.
Khushi smiled as she turned towards him caressing her Saari in proper place as she walked towards him. A slight doubt that came in Manish's mind of her feeling uncomfortable flew away seeing her smiling so freely with him. He felt a very weird calmness and happiness feeling fill his heart seeing how comfortable she was with him or in his presence.
Khushi:(coming to his side of the bed)"Good Morning Handsome! Now get up fast and get ready. We have to head to the temple with everyone"
Manish:"Temple?"
Khushi:"mmhmm Dadu's orders"
Manish:"And why the saari? It's cold outside Khush. You will fall sick"
Khushi:(Smiled at his care)"The sun is out Mani. It's not that cold today. Plus I'll keep a cardigan with me. Now common get ready and come down. I'll go help maa with breakfast"
Khushi said as she turned to leave only to be stopped by Manish holding her hand. She turned to see him looking down like a small child. She knew what he was thinking but waited for him to speak.
Manish:"K..Khush I..I don't know if I..I could face them. I.."
Khushi:(sitting next to him on the bed)"Aare ese kaise? Mani they are your parents. They love you unconditionally"
{Translation:"Hey, how come? Mani they are your parents. They love you unconditionally"}
Manish:"I..I hurt them so much. I..How can I.."
Khushi:(smiled)"That's the beauty of parents mani. They are the most forgiving person in the whole world. Mani you can't change your past now can you? But you can make a better future and for that you need to cherish your present. You are blessed with an Amazing Family Mani. I am sure even if you just call them Maa and Papa once, they will shower you with all the love they can."
