Navier and Angelica were walking around 'It would have been nice to see you as it will be harder to meet you from now on...But all I can do is assume that good news from your Kingdom means that you are doing well.' Navier thought as Angelica tapped her shoulder and pointed in front of them seeing Duke Ergi walking up to them with a little swagger "Your Majesty, Lady Angelica." He said as Navier looked at him bowing to them "It's been a while since we last met." Navier said, "I wanted to visit, but I could never seem to find the right opportunity to see you both." Duke Ergi said as Angelica nodded "I see." Angelica said.
"Can the three of us take a walk together? Just while we are both going the same way." He said as Navier and Angelica both didn't say anything and looked at each other before walking past him while Navier gave him a nod to walk with them, he gave a smirk and followed behind them as they walked when he spoke up "What do you think of Lady Rashta, Your Majesty and Lady Angelica." Duke Ergi said as Angelica kept quiet '...If he thinks that Rashta studying will help her become Empress he is strongly mistaken. I'll make sure of that...' Angelica thought as Navier spoke up "I think of her as any Empress would think about most Mistress they don't see as family or weren't raised with said Empress." Duke Ergi let out a laugh. "My word. You're quite good at dodging questions." He said and both Angelica and Navier spoke "Was there a particular answer you were looking for?/ What particular answer are you looking for?" Duke Ergi looked at them surprised 'They're like twins...Hm. This could work in my favor.' He thought and let out a whistle with a smirk "And quite the retort, the both of you are." Duke Ergi said, Navier turned her gaze onto him "If you have something to say, Let us hear it." Navier said as Duke Ergi leaned closer to the two ladies "Bullying the weak is shameful behavior, Your Majesty, Lady Angelica." Duke Ergi said with a smirk.
'He's talking about Rashta...' Navier thought as Angelica spoke up "We won't provoke her first. But if someone comes at me with a knife...I'm not going to let them stab me just because they're weaker than me. If you run into a weak opponent, are you going to throw away your weapons, tie your hands behind your back, and let them attack you?" Angelica asked turning her gaze onto them as they stared at her surprised 'She's like a...Carbon copy of the Empress, even though she's a slave and a Mistress...' Duke Ergi thought as Navier had a small smile on her face 'I guess my influence with her teaching has been helping her.' Navier thought.
Duke Ergi had a grin on his face and leaned closer to Angelica "Can you hit me once? I want to feel a little less guilty." He said making Angelica look at him with a nervous look at how close he was "Guilty about what?" Angelica asked curious, but Duke Ergi just gave her and Navier a grin and they stopped walking as Duke Ergi turned to them "This is where our paths diverge. We'll have to go our separate ways. Goodbye." He said glancing at the two ladies before walking away and leaving them together again both Angelica and Navier watched him walk away. 'What sort of guilt is he referring to? Is he talking about how he's on Rashta's side? Or...Heinrey was the one who asked Duke Ergi to come here. So, does the guilt that the Duke referred to...Have something to do with that plan?' Navier thought and was brought out of her thoughts by Angelica "Sister Navier, we should invite Miss Lebetti over with other noble ladies." Angelica said as Navier turned to her "Lebetti?" Navier asked and Angelica nodded "It would serve as a warning to Rashta. And since I didn't get to meet Miss Lebetti at the small party I want to get to know her." Angelica said making Navier nod "Alright. I'll send a letter to Miss Lebetti and a few other young Noble ladies and invite them over tomorrow." Navier said as they continued their walk.
Angelica hid her smirk with a smile 'I'll make sure to have Lebetti on my side.' Angelica thought.
