Present (Mini Poem)

Substituting now for what once was

Who knew it was a dangerous move

I have nothing left that I can prove

So I'm forcing myself into a fantasy

Imagining the way it could be

If only I had grown up differently

Bouncing back and forth between priorities

Is this really what was meant for me?
