just like I need to talk a bit

So in case someone doesn't know - I'm from Israel.

And we're still at war.

Today is our memorial day and who knew that it'll be super sad after burying so many friends?

Well me, obviously, but it was really hard.

Me and my friends went to our high school because we had so many graves to go to and we couldn't just go to one but not the other so we decided it'll be easier to go to the school where they'll talk about everyone.

Even my former teacher, who is usually on a helicopter taking the wounded from Gaza to hospitals, was there, some of the families had special stickers made for the fallen.

I write this every year but this year I just don't think I can even do anything, litterly, I think I'm not even getting out of bed tomorrow.

Again, for those of you who don't know - Israel's Memorial Day and Independence Day are back to back, also in Judaism the day ends in the evening so while for the rest of the world now (9:52 pm) it's still Monday in Judaism it's already Tuesday.

Anyways, that means it's already Independence Day for us and I never get how we can do that, especially now when there are still people kidnapped, 132 of them.

He was 9 months in October since then some of the women and children came back.

This is Ron, he's a friend, he got hurt and almost died but we're so very proud of him for being here and walking again!

This was Ohad, he's no longer alive.
This is a sticker that his family made for memorial day.

Unfortunately they're also dead, most of them also went to high school with me.

My biggest thing is that I was supposed to be where one of my friends died.
I was supposed to be there for 2 years but somehow I went to a different base, did a different part.
But I was supposed to be there and die.
And now it's not fair because how can I live when she's dead?
