To me the one who hated you

It has been two years, and working for Arms detective agency is much more tiring than school. You realized you are not built for jobs like this

You are finally 20 years old adult with a lot of responsibilities, but you felt like 50 because being a crime consultant is not easy, especially when you need permission to use your ability

After joining the arms detective agency, your dad had set rules for your own good,  he said

"Y/N from now on, you need to ask permission to read people and ask permission to rewrite their fate."

"Bu-bu-"

"No buts!"

You sighed at the memory. Being a crime consultant becomes so boring to you

It's because criminals are always the same

"It's so boring, theres no criminals out there whos actually smart and not dumb," you sighed for the fifth time

No criminals had ever made your heart scared, like Fyodor did. Well speaking of fyodor you can't seem to find him everywhere. Hes your side quest when you have free time, looking for him

You sighed again in relief once you finally reached  ADA fourth floor building. You just finished another boring case and surprise surprise

Your mouth went wide when you saw someone you didn't expect

"Dazai?!" You screamed while pointing at the brunette who's sitting beside Kunikida

"Y/N!" You saw Dazai run up to you to hug you, but you dodge him quickly, and Dazai fell unto the ground

"Y/N, you're still mean!" You heard him whine, you looked around the room waiting someone to answer and Kunikida answered it for you

"Dazai, here is our new member he passed his entrance exam." Your mouth went wide, and you glared at Dazai, who's now hugging you from behind

"Damn you, Daza-" You were cut off when Ranpo pulled you away from the suicidals grip

"Why do you know him Y/N?" You saw Ranpo pout cutely, and you pat him in the head

"We used to be -" Dazai cuts you off when he cries dramatically

"Oh! Y/N our relationship before its...we used to be lovers. " Everyone inside the building had heard him, and they all screamed

"Ehh!??!" Your eye twitched and fight back not to ruin your composure

"Y/N is it true, I thought I was the only one!" Ranpo screamed dramatically as he cried on your neck

You deadpanned at them youre to tired

"Dazai lying, we just used to be friends," you said in a mature way, which they believe you

Turning to look at Ranpo, who's still hugging you tightly, you pushed him gently and looked at him in the eyes

"Ranpo, I'm off duty today, and I want to talk to an old friend here and maybe tour him. Go ahead and do your work, okay?" You heard Ranpo whine and shook his head and tightly hug you again

"No!" Your eyes twicthed, and you gave up

"I'll give you a kiss later if you let go." Ranpo eyes widen and immediately pull away and run to his seat

"Enjoy your day, Y/N!" You heard Ranpo scream
Dazai, who is watching the scene, you immediately grab his wrist and pull him down the first floor cafe

"I swear that kid!" You grumbled, and Dazai smiled at your cuteness

Finally reaching the cafe, you treated Dazai a coffee, which he thank you for

"So, what's the ex mafia doing here?" You glared at the man in front of you. He flinched, and he looked away from you

"So you see, its really personal but I swear I'm a changed man, your dad even let me work here" You thought for it for a moment and realized he was telling the truth, about your dad letting him work. Your dad can kill him if he sees him as a threat

"I see, then let's just catch up, I still dont trust you." You took a sip of your coffee, and Dazai only smiled, looking down at his coffee with a slight blush on his cheeks

"I miss you so much." You choked on your coffee and quickly wiped it with a nap kin

"No more of those, please. Anyways, how's Odasaku?" You saw Dazai eyes widen and look at you in the eyes. It felt like you asked a bad question

"Hes dead." Your heart sanked when you heard his voice so dull. He really changed

"My condolences." You looked down at your coffee with guilt, which Dazai noticed and quickly changed the topic

"And oh my, I didn't know my long time crush had become this handsome!" Dazai said while you felt him hold your hands

"You too, you become more handsome too. Now that stupid bandage around your other eyes is gone. I can see your face more clearly now, "
You are an expert complimenting other people back, but you think you did too much when you saw Dazai blush again, hiding it using his hands

"You really changed, huh Y/N?" Dazai voice was soft, which your heart skipped a beat

"I guess." You looked away from him, and you tucked your hair away from your blushing face

Dazai couldn't hold it anymore

Dazai pov

"Y/N, I want to tell you something I should have said many many years ago," I said nervously and held both of his hands

I should tell him before it's too late, I can't let it happen like last time he left me. I should have said this before he goes away

"I love you" I looked at him with a serious face and his blushed face reached his neck, I waited for him to reply and he just sat there mouth agape and couldn't pull away from me because Im holding his hand tightly

"I love you, I always had," I said again with a straight face. I saw him again look at me with the same shock face

"So let me be your man, please." I saw him look away as I tightened my grip on his hands. his hands were so warm. I saw him open his mouth to reply

"I hate you, Dazai," I heard him say, and I swear my heart dropped

"I hated you so much because I can't read you." I saw his lips trembled, and I held more tightly on his hand

"I know." I know I always know, I literally forced him to meet up with me every day

"But, I really enjoyed your company, and then I realized I didn't actually hate you." I saw him blush and looked at me straight in the eyes, and I let him continue

"You said your desire is make me fall in love with you?" I remembered it, my last dying wish

"Then, let's continue making that desire true." i felt my face get warm

I saw him give me the most genuine happier smile he gave me

"Sure,no backing out?" I said to him, and I saw him nod

For the first time in my life, I found my will to wake up every morning and go to work
