Nene pov: I ran up to Marine-senpai, Noel-senpai, Flare-senpai, and Pekora-senpai out of breath as soon as I reached them.
"Where is she?" I yell
"Ru-" Marine-senpai covered her own mouth before she finished saying her name.
"Look, we can't tell you. I assume you are here for revenge, but I'll be the first to tell you that if you want to kill her, then you'll have to get through us four first." Flare-senpai said
"We aren't that attached, Peko!" Pekora-senpai replied angrily.
"Yeah, but it's our duty or something." Noel-senpai says
"Would you be saying that if Flare wasn't your girlfriend?" Marine-senpai asks
"Nope!" Noel-senpai chimes
"See, even you don't see her as a friend!"
They all look at me funny. "We do!" They say
"A woman who has said she doesn't care about you-someone who has betrayed you and tried to kill you-how the hell can you consider someone like that your friend!?" I ask
"Didn't Aloe say that she was using you?" Flare-senpai asks
"She... How do you know that!?" I ask
"I heard..." Flare-senpai replied
"You wouldn't get it!" I shout
"It is the same damn thing!" Flare-senpai says
Flashback...
I leaned in and kissed her just long enough for her energy to be replenished. I pulled away and smiled. "Better?" I asked her, and she nodded slightly.
"Thank you," Aloe softly said. Her adorable words pierced my heart.
Aloe's hair began to turn green, but all of a sudden it turned back. She began to breathe heavily.
"Don't strain yourself!" I told her
She smiled at me and hugged me tightly. "Thank you for worrying about me!" She said
I wanted to tell her it was no problem, but she kept squeezing me, so I couldn't talk. My heart began to beat quickly. I don't understand why I just did what I usually do with Aloe; nothing has changed, so why does my heart feel like this?
"Aloe is a succubus, so sometimes they mark others unintentionally or not, but maybe you were accidentally marked, and that's why you are so flustered." Choco-sensei stated
"I don't think I marked Nenechi!" Aloe said
Choco-sensei lifted my shirt and looked at my stomach. "Yeah, you're right." She stated that she was perplexed by this.
She may have marked me. I really have no clue if she has or not but I don't mind if she did.
This feeling I have towards her it's....
End of Flashback....
"I love her!" I shout
Flare-senpai and Noel-senpai looked at me sighing "then be with her..." they both said
"No... not until I get revenge for her!"
Marine-senpai got up and began to drag me away "You need to cool off clear your head you are too angry right now and your judgment is clouded Aloe wouldn't want that..."
"You wouldn't know what Aloe-chan wants not even Aloe-chan knows what she wants so stop acting like you are the one that knows what she wants and needs!" I yell
"I'm not!" Marine-senpai hissed
"Yes you are!" I say
"The only one doing that is you!" She says
"Ugh... you don't get it!" I say
"Look be bitter about this like you were with Kiara..." Marine-senpai said
"I-"
I thought about how I was when the incident with Kiara happened all my anger and frustration exploded but Aloe-chan helped me then.
Flashback...
I felt sick to my stomach. I wanted to throw up. All I could do was look at my friend lying there and hold back my urge to vomit all over the ground
I saw Mumei run over to Kiara, glaring at her. She balled up her fist in anger, "Calli!" She screamed, wanting to locate the pink-haired reaper. She was about to begin her search but was held back by Fauna and Kronii
"Mumei you will get revenge on Calli so help Kiara right now..." Fauna sighs
"No, but I..." Mumei looked down at Kiara and bit her lip "You're right, I'll wait here with her."
I ran up to Kiara, looking down at her. She didn't even have a peaceful expression. How could I have been so stupid not to notice the look on her face?
Choco-sensei came running in and took a good look at Kiara. "She needs to be put on life support immediately. Hurry up, don't waste a second!" She screamed as her team of medics put Kiara on a stretcher and hauled her to the nurses' office
I looked up and saw Calli. The look on her face was one of shock and horror.
"K-Kiara..." She said it was the first time she had said her name in a while; "I didn't think it would get this far." She said she sounded distraught
I saw Mumei. She glared at Calli as soon as she heard her voice, "God damn you!" She screamed, launching herself over to the pink-haired girl and punching her to the ground
Calli began to hyperventilate and quiver, "I didn't think..." She tried to speak but words wouldn't come out of her mouth. She was having a panic attack. She clutched the ground, scraping her nails across it so hard they began to chip and her finger tips began to bleed
"You didn't think what!?" Mumei growled, grabbing her by the collar of her shirt
"I didn't want things to go this far." Calli said she began to cry but I could tell Mumei felt no sympathy for her. Neither did I.
"K-Kurokami promised that no matter what I did to Kiara, she wouldn't..." Calli let out an agonizing scream and suddenly slammed her head into the ground
She gazed up, looking at me dead in the eyes, "Nene-senpai, you can attest for me. I didn't mean for this to happen. It is not my fault!" She yelled
I walked up to her and slapped her in the face, leaving a red mark. "Not your fault?" I laughed, "The only one to blame is you! This only happened because of what you put her through" I yelled
"B-but..." She began to say, but I cut her off
"You promised you would protect her!" I screamed. She looked miserable
"Nenechi!" Aloe yelled, running up to me,
"I've been looking all over for you!" She panted, finally reaching me
"Did Omarun and Lamy send you?" I asked somberly
"No, I wanted to find you because I know what you are going through must be tough." she stated
"Yeah..." I said, trying to walk away from her
"I'll always be here for you!" Aloe said, grabbing my hand
"Do you want to go get ice cream or something?" I nodded in response, "Alright, let's go then. I know a good place off campus for it."
She dragged me off campus I knew this wasn't the ideal thing right now, but it kept my mind off things, but all I wanted in the end was for Kiara to be okay.
End of Flashback...
That was right I was bitter Aloe-chan pulled me out of that despair but now she is the one who is in danger...
My sunshine is gone and now I only see darkness....
I can pretend to be cheerful and a comedy act but at the end of the day I really do love Mano Aloe. I just can't let this go...
