Star City; July 20th
"I do not understand why I must take this test, Miss. Canary" Kai's says as he tugs on the tie, Dinah had him wear. Even though the boy standing next to Dinah Lance sounded like Kai, he did not look like Kai. The reason was that Kai looked like a human. Dinah and Martian Manhunter helped Kai understand his abilities and they found out that Kai can transform to make himself look more like his peers.
"Kai, I told you. You need to take this test to see where you would qualify for you're schooling at the end of summer. You may be 15, but you have never had any prior schooling before. And I told you call me Dinah when were not in costume" Dinah explains as she walks around in front of Kai tightening his tie.
"My apologies, Miss. Dinah" She sighs at Kai's overly polite way of speaking. "But I have managed on my own with out schooling for many years. I do not believe it is necessary." Kai explains looking at himself in front of the mirror.
"Kai... I know change can be hard but Batman promised that his friend will do everything he can to make sure you are comfortable." Dinah explains placing a comforting hand on Kai's shoulder.
"Who is Mr. Batman's friend anyways?" Kai asks looking into Dinah's eyes through the mirror.
"Bruce Wayne. He will meet us At Gotham Academy to bring you to take the test." Dinah says.
" Okay. I'm ready.... I guess." Kai says turning away from the mirror to face Dinah who just gave him a small smile.
"Great shall we." She says extending her hand to which he nods a grasps her hand as they head out towards a zeta tube to get to Gotham.
As Kai and Dinah arrive in front of Gotham academy they are met by a tall man with short black hair, and dark brown eyes. Next to him was a boy who looked younger then Kai but still around the same age. He had short black hair and Blue eyes. The young teen had a dopey smile on his face as he was practically bouncing up in down with excitement.
"Hello Mr. Wayne. I'm Dinah Lance and this is my ward Kai Ackermann." Dinah introduces her and Kai.
"Ms. Lance, Kai. Nice to meet you. I'm Bruce Wayne and this is my Ward Dick Grayson." Bruce introduces.
"Hi I'm Dick nice to meet you." The boy Dick jumps in front of Kai quickly with a bright smile putting his hand out for Kai to shake.
"Uhhh. Nice to meet you Di-Dick?" Kai says grasping Dick's hand. Who shakes it enthusiastically. "Umm, Mr. Wayne thank you for this opportunity." Kai says pulling his hand away from Dick and looking at Bruce who has a small smile.
"It's my pleasure." Bruce says before motioning them to follow. "You will being taking 4 diffrent test. A Math, an Language Arts, an IQ test, and giving your previous life style an EQ test." Bruce explains as they make their way into the school. Dick was standing right next to Kai, Bruce in front of them and Dinah behind.
"Umm, what's the difference between and IQ and EQ test? And is it possible to have the questions translated into German?" Kai asks
"An EQ test is your emotional abilities and social skills while a IQ test is your cognitive and intellectual skills. Don't worry I'm sure you will do great." Dick says smiling up at the nervous teen.
"We can translate you're everything except the Launage Arts test, if that's fine." Bruce answers Kai second question.
"Yes that fine thank you very much sir." Kai thanks Bruce as they stop in front of a room.
