          tasias pov: 2 weeks later.

finally, deciding to stop being stubborn, i went to the hospital to see what was going on me with me. it's like everything got worse from being nauseous to vomiting and cramping every morning to it being an all-day thing.

mommy called out of work, dad is on a business trip, but we called, and he told us to update him.

"im dr.smith, nice to meet you both."

"hi, and its nice to meet you as well" 

"so, tell me what seems to be the problem today?"

i just wanted my mom to speak for me.

"well, she's been vomiting and experiencing morning sickness for the past three weeks, but the thing is she told me that she took a pregnancy test and it came out negative so that can't be the problem"

"is she old enough to answer questions or?"

"yes, i am"

"do you want mama in here while i ask you these questions?"

"sure, yeah" now im nervous.

"alright, so, are you sexually active?"

"ok, mama, can you step out for a second?"

"what? why?"

"please just..."

"ok, i'll go."

i can tell it hurt her feelings, but she gotta see it through my boy.

"to answer your question, yes"

"alright, and when was the last time you had your period?"

"last month."

"so no period this month?"

"not at all"

"ok, im gonna have you pee in this cup, and i have to run a few blood tests. you ok with that?"

"yeah thats fine"

"alrighty, here's the cup. once you're done, just sit it here. ill be right back. "

"ok."

as she walked out, my mom came in.

"did i do something wrong?"

"no, why?"

"you've never left me out of anything."

"mommy, im grown now. i dont have to share any and everything i do."

"....ok. fine."

i went to the bathroom to pee in the cup.

10 mins later...

"alright, miss barrino. if you could lie back for me for just a minute. "

he took blood from my veins.

"ok, and ill be back with your results in a few hours."

"can you order chinese when we get back home?"

"sure, whatever you want."

"you upset?"

"no, im good."

"no youre not pretty face, but ok. what are we even gonna do while we wait?"

"not sure"

my phone dinged.
