I hummed the songs of Lana Del Rey in my head. Lana was a famous singer born a year before my older sister and with a voice blessed by the gods themselves.
She was also very beautiful, like a snowy angel sort of beautiful. Pale skin , Rosy cheeks , midnight black hair , high cheek bones and thin red lips. But the most beautiful thing about her, was her expressive eyes.
As blue as the summer sky.
Lana always wanted to become something special. She lived in the winter of her life and the men that she met on the street were her summer. She belonged to no one who belonged to everyone. She was wild and free. Insane but in a beautiful way.
And tonight she was singing in the Red Keep.
And I was not going to miss it.
