The first version of this acknowledgments chapter from 2015 wasn't a bad one. It was sappy. It was somewhat dorky. It sounded roughly like an Oscars acceptance speech.

But since it is now 2017 and this draft has been reposted in full, I've decided to rewrite the acknowledgments chapter.

I know this draft wasn't perfect. When I finished it in July of 2015, it was the first book I'd ever finished the first draft of, and despite its flaws, I was proud of it and incredibly thankful for the small, but encouraging readership that I had.

I dreamed of more, of course, but I was happy with my 11.6k reads and cheerfully moved on to writing the first draft of one of the sequels (If you weren't aware before, Glass Slippers is part of a series that may or may not have 23 stories in it total, once I'm done, anyway).

Over the months that followed, Glass Slippers did better than I could've dreamed. It got featured by Once Upon a Time, the tv show, during their promotional campaign on wattpad and after being finished for three months, Glass Slippers reached over 100k reads.

I was over the moon, and I had big plans.

But as life often does, it didn't go to plan. And rather than what my seventeen-year-old self optimistically hoped for in 2015 (finished drafts for six sequels and a book published on amazon), I'm still working on editing and rewriting Glass Slippers.

So in light of that, this note is still sort of an Oscars-style thank you, but it's a more heartfelt and relevant one.

I want to thank those who have stuck with me since the very first chapter posted in March of 2015, and have weathered many a rewrite, worried author's note, and hiatus since then. To have a group of people who have stuck with me for so long is something I'm incredibly grateful for.

Additionally, I want to say thank you to those in the middle who are neither a new reader or one who's been there since day one. You probably found this series during a time where I posted lots of confusing author's notes and changed my mind about twice a day. Thank you for sticking it out.

And lastly, I'd like to give a kudos to any new readers. If you've made it this far, thank you for reading.

Basically, just thank you to everyone, really.
