Key Seven: Brushing Things Off
Beginning Quote: "Just move on." ~Unknown
Did you ever get really mad at someone when you were younger? Maybe he or she took something that was yours. Or maybe they played a mean joke on you. Well, you probably did.
But, do you ever get really mad at someone now?
Maybe they made you look like an idiot. Maybe they knocked you down, and made you feel worthless.
You'll probably deny it. Tell everybody that you don't. The truth here is, you do. And, you are staying mad at them. It could've started yesterday, or it could've started a year ago.
Why are you still mad at them? Did they really piss you off so much, as to you are still angry with them? Or is it you? Are you, maybe, overreacting to what he or she has done?
Just learn to let go. Just learn to brush it off. If it didn't interfere with or insult your way of life or religion, then it shouldn't truly matter that much.

"Remember not to take my Jolly Ranchers!" Amanda yelled as she walked out of the gym.
I looked around at my friends. Anna, Blake, and Kinlee all had the same smirk on their faces. We locked eyes before scooting over to the Jolly Rancher bag. We grabbed a few.
She's going to kill us!
A few minutes later, Amanda returned. We had to try really hard to stop ourselves from bursting out into laughter.
Amanda noticed what we had done.
"Blake! Give me back my Jolly Ranchers! NOW!" she practically yelled.
Blake grinned and shook her head. Amanda frowned, her eyebrows forming frustrated creases. She walked over to where Mack, Nico, and Shelbey were sitting.
"Guys," she said with an exasperated sigh. "Blake and them took some of my Jolly ranchers and they're not giving them back!"
Nico laughed, "So?"
Amanda threw her hands up in the air. She walked back over to where we were doing school. Grabbing her stuff, she left us. She looked like she was about to cry.
"Just a little overreacting there," I whispered to my friends.
They giggled and nodded.
About an hour later, Amanda came back. She gave us all sticky notes that had a small note and a drawing on them.
I was bored...so I drew you a butterfly!
A beautiful picture of a butterfly was at the bottom of the sticky note. She sat back down with us, smiling. I think she was over the Jolly Ranchers.
