It's visits became more frequent.
But every memory of those incidents
are out of reach
far and distant.
Every morning she wakes
as if her memories were wiped clean.
For all she knows,
she was only dreaming.
But there is evidence left behind
from every visit.
She will ignore it.
Though I can clearly see
the soiled sheets
too vivid a clue
of its vicious deeds.
