Chapter 3: The Dancing Agents

The next day, Abby and Cosimo were seen arriving on the southwest corner of Meadow Road and Cherry Lane, there was a building which is a dance studio called the Abby Lee Dance Company, and it was 1,700 square feet Front desk that was near the entrance/exit for easy access and visibility as the design was sleek and modern and there was a foyer with double doors leading into a welcoming space with a grand chandelier, Abby Lee Dance Company logo displayed prominently with a timeline of the studio's achievements with plush benches and sofas, there were also a staircases that led to the Observation Room, a vending machine and there were three doors with the door next to the staircase led into the Dancer's Den, which was a lounge for dancers to hang out between classes and rehearsals, the door on the right let into Studio A, the Abby Lee Dance Company's biggest studio room and it had 3 doors that led into Studio A, Studio B and Studio C, with Studios B and C being the other studio rooms and the left door led into Studio B, one of the three studios. Studio A is Spacious with high ceilings, mirrored walls on one side, and floor-to-ceiling windows on the opposite side for natural light, has high quality sprung flooring suitable for various dance styles like ballet, jazz and contemporary with the Decor looking elegant and modern with motivational quotes and images of famous dancers lining the walls and it also has State-of-the-art sound system and adjustable lighting to create different atmospheres for rehearsals and performances along with portable ballet barres and comfortable seating for breaks. Studio B, the secondary Dance Studio is smaller than Studio A as it was designed for smaller groups or individual practice sessions with similar quality flooring and mirror walls, the Decor has Vibrant colors with inspirational posters specific to technique and skill development and it also has Integrated video playback for choreography review and practice and there were Folding chairs and compact storage for dance props and equipment and the 3rd studio, Studio C is Dedicated to specialized dance forms like acrobatics, rhythmic gymnastics, or aerial dance and the floor has Extra cushioning or matting to support intensive movements with Mirrored walls with safety padding, bold colors to energize performers and there were Aerial silks, crash mats, and adjustable rigging for safety and versatility. The observation deck overlooking all 3 studios has comfortable chair and bar stools along a glass barrier with trophies on a shelf and there was a coffee and refreshment bar, with a view into Studio A through soundproof glass with the Decor has Inspirational artwork and framed photos of notable performances. The Dancer's Den has Plush couches, bean bags, and a cozy atmosphere with Flat-screen TVs showing dance competitions or performances, gaming consoles, and a small library of dance-related books and magazines and the refreshments has healthy snacks, hydration stations, and a small kitchenette for reheating meals and there were ramps and accessible bathrooms and the studio has Integrated smart controls for lighting and climate, ensuring comfort and energy efficiency and CCTV cameras for security and emergency exits clearly marked with entrance/exits leading to and from Meadow Road and Cherry Lane.

Abby and her son exit the vehicle after Abby had parked in a space that said 'Reserved for Abby Lee' which is Abby's personal parking space and enter the studio and after the girls and moms arrive shortly thereafter, it was time for a new week of rehearsals as Abby had talked to the girls about the previous competition until pyramid came and went with Paige on the top and Cosimo smiled at her and in response, she winked at him.

"This week, we're hitting Hollywood Vibe right here in Northbrook," Abby announced to a chorus of applause from the moms and girls. "I expect nothing less than 100% from everyone, especially since we're on our home turf."

"And you all know the pressure that comes with competing in our hometown, or in Chicago or anywhere in the Chicagoland area." Cosimo chimed in, his voice full of determination. "But we've got this."

"He's right. Our group number, 'Private Eyes,' was Cosimo's brainchild," Abby continued, acknowledging him with a nod as the room filled with approving smiles. "On top of that, we have a trio featuring Paige, Chloe, and Maddie called 'Over and Over.' Kendall, wipe that frown off your face. Chloe, you've got a solo titled 'Please,' and Maddie, yours is 'Every Little Step.' We're taking two champions from Hollywood Vibe, and I expect one of you to bring that title back home again. Understood?"
