As the tension mounted among the team members upon hearing the shots from Wonwoo's location, Hoshi, who had been trying to reach him without success, relayed his concern to the others through their communication devices.

"Guys, I'm not getting any response from Wonwoo," Hoshi informed them urgently. "Someone near him, please go check on him. He might be in trouble."

Jeonghan, who was closest to Wonwoo's position, immediately acknowledged Hoshi's directive. "I'm on my way," he responded swiftly through the earpiece.

Jeonghan emerged from the basement, his expression determined yet calm despite the chaos around them. "I did my task," he reported confidently over the earpiece. "I'll go check on Wonwoo."

Mingyu's voice crackled through the earpiece, surprised. "So fast? Did everything go smoothly?"

"Of course," Jeonghan replied with a hint of amusement in his voice. "And besides, there was no one in there. What fools."

Mingyu chuckled softly, relieved by the success of Jeonghan's swift completion of their objective. "Good job, hyung," he commended.

As Jeonghan rushed towards Wonwoo, his mind raced with concern only to find Wonwoo cradling a wounded girl in his arms.

"Wonwoo, are you alright?" Jeonghan asked urgently, his eyes flicking between Wonwoo's face and the girl's pale form. "And who is she?"

Wonwoo, coming back from his thoughts, nodded towards the girl. "She's been shot," he explained tersely. "Help me get her to safety."

Without hesitation, Jeonghan took charge, lifting the girl gently from Wonwoo's arms. "We need to get her medical attention," he said, his voice steady despite the urgency of the situation. "Wonwoo, get ready to explain everything to the leader."

Wonwoo nodded silently, his expression grave as he turned back and said "I'll take the others out".He knew he couldn't afford to lose focus, not when the safety of his team depended on it.

As Jeonghan carried the girl towards his waiting van, the rest of the team started coming back. When they arrived at the designated location, the leader was already waiting, his gaze piercing as he observed the wounded girl in Jeonghan's arms. Wonwoo stepped forward, his voice steady as he began to explain.

"She saved my life," Wonwoo stated simply, his tone carrying a mixture of gratitude and determination. "If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be standing here."

The leader's expression softened slightly, a rare hint of approval crossing his features. "Let's get her inside," he said finally, gesturing for Jeonghan to follow him.

As they entered the van, the team gathered around, their concern palpable. The girl lay unconscious, her breathing shallow but steady. They knew she had risked everything to protect one of their own, but they weren't sure to trust anyone especially the one they found in their enemies house.

When they finally reached their mansion, the team quickly exited the van, carrying the girl inside. The mansion, their sanctuary and base of operations, offered a sense of security amidst the chaos of their world. It was located farthest from the city.
