16: Phone Games

(y/n) finds herself visiting the all-boys class at Furin High School. As she walks in, she greets the boys, whom enthusiastically return it with either waves or grins. you can say she has become a part of them with the amount of frequent visits they get from her.

suo waves at her, making her flush as she recalls their close proximity at the gym that one time. nirei beams at her; such a sweet boi. sugishita simply grunts at her, his head resting on the table, but oh well, that's about as much as she'll get from the blue-haired male, sakura mumbles his own greeting, averting his eyes from her and lastly, tsugeura grins at her (yeah, he wasted no time introducing himself.)

(y/n)'s eyes land on kiryu and she is immediately drawn to the pink-haired boy, who is deeply engrossed in a game on his phone. she is intrigued and approaches him to ask about the game, peering at him inquisitively.

kiryu was deeply engrossed in a game on his phone, seemingly unaware of the (h/c)-ette's presence. she hums to herself, her curiosity getting the better of her, "...what kind of game are you playing?" she asks, looking at his phone and then back to him.

kiryu, whom is known for his kind and gentle nature towards girls, looks up and gives (y/n) a warm smile, "it's a battle game," he offers her his phone, inviting her to play the game.

As (y/n) tentatively takes the phone, his hot-dog phone case grazing her fingers, their bodies unintentionally touch, leaving her feeling a little flustered. kiryu goes to stand behind her and looks over her shoulder, giving her pointers and guidance.

(y/n) finds herself becoming more and more aware of the pink-head's presence. his charisma and protectiveness towards girls is hard to ignore. As she continues to play the game, she can feel his body heat behind her, and it sends a jolt of electricity through her. she tries to focus on the game, but it's becoming increasingly difficult with kiryu so close.

kiryu, too, found himself feeling drawn to (y/n). He had always been protective of all girls in his life and those he encounters, but there was something
about the (h/c)-ette that made him feel a different kind of attraction. he couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he knew that he wanted to spend more time with her.

as (y/n) continues to play the game, she became more and more engrossed in it. kiryu watches with delight as she figured out the mechanics and started to win. He couldn't help but feel proud of her, and he knew that he wanted to be there for her, to support and protect her.

"ah.." (y/n) nearly lost the game as her fingers fumble with the screen, her brows furrow in confusion.

kiryu's scent, a mix of lavender and musk fills her senses. he leans forward, a faint chuckle escaping his lips as he pointed at the screen, "see, you just have to..."

"ooohh!" she nods in understanding, letting him show her and do most of the work.

"got it?" kiryu asks softly, his voice a low murmur that sent shivers down (y/n)'s spine. she met his gaze, her heart pounding in her chest. The world seemed to shrink, just the two of them, lost in their own private space. the game almost slipped from her mind as she found herself drawn to the spark in his peridot eyes, the warmth radiating from his presence.

"mhm...I think so," (y/n) mumbles, her voice barely a whisper. kiryu smiles, his eyes twinkling with a secret she couldn't decipher. He leans closer, their faces inches apart, unaware of the attention that was brought onto them.

"let's see if you can beat my high score," he whispered, his breath tickling her ear. The feeling of his gaze on her, his touch, was intoxicating. (y/n) felt a sudden urge to pull away, yet also a strange desire to stay, lost in the warmth of his presence.
