Agad akong sinalubong ni France nang makarating ako sa ICU kung saan si Grace. Dinala siya sa ICU dahil naging severe ang kalagayan niya at dapat laging tignan.
Who would even do this?
Nakauwi ako ng wala sa oras dahil rito.
"This is all your 8th wife's fault." Napatingin ako kay France. May galit siya.
"Why is that?" Taka kong tanong.
"My daughter has been with her and she was the one who's with my daughter when this happened."
Tumingin ako ulit sa ICU, sa salamin kung saan makikita si Grace na nakahiga at may mga apparatus.
If Avila did this, we will never know. This is too much of an obvious.
Halatang may iba ang pakana nito.
"That woman must pay!"
Nag angat ako ng kamay para matigil siya at doon siya tinignan.
"We don't have enough evidence yet." Walang emosyon kong sabi.
"What evidence do you still need? She's also the one behind your divorce, right? And maybe she's also the one behind Regina's death!"
Nanliit ang mata ko sa sinabi niya.

Tumungo ako sa hagdan papunta sa underground dungeon at bumaba doon.
