Avila's POV
Tahimik kami ni Penelope habang hinihintay si Caesar rito sa opisina. Ayokong makipag-usap kay Penelope dahil alam kong tutungo lamang ito sa away at ayoko ng makipagtalo pa sa kanya.
She's way too low.
Hahayaan kong si Caesar ang haharap sa kanya.
Nakaupo ako sa swivel chair ko habang siya ay nakaupo sa sofa na ngayon ay nakayuko.
I have a lot to tell her but I know it will only stress me out and I don't want to get stress out.
How can she tell all of this after one week?! Is she not thinking?!
Nilalagay niya kami sa kapahamakan!
Bumukas ang pinto at pumasok si Michael, Sariel na dala-dala ang briefcase at Caesar.
Agad lumipad ang matulis na tingin ni Caesar kay Penelope.
Napatayo si Penelope sa pagdating nila at nagulat sa uri ng tingin ni Caesar sa kanya.
"I'm tired of your f*cking bullsh*t, Penelope! Pagod na akong ipagtanggol ka sa kanila!" Umalingawngaw ang sigaw ni Caesar sa kwarto.
Napaupo ako ng maayos sa gulat sa pagsigaw niya.
I know Caesar for being cool and calm to any situation. I never heard him scream from anger before.
"Ikaw na nga itong binibigyan ng pagkakataong manalo, ikaw pa itong sasabotahe sa lahat! What were you thinking telling us this just now?! If you can't respect anyone here at least respect my decision to become their ally! I'm tired of you already! Can you just gave us a break! You're like a dumbbell to us!" Sabay duro niya pa kay Penelope.
Si Penelope naman ay napakurap-kurap sa sinabi ni Caesar.
"Damn it!" Natampal ni Caesar ang sariling noo at tumalikod kay Penelope para lumayo sa kanya.
"I'm sorry-"
"You think you're sorry will save us?!" Humarap na naman si Caesar sa kanya. "You killed my father! Well, thank you for that! But the person who saw you can't be trusted! You should've killed him too!"
"I really... Didn't mean to-"
"Didn't mean to?! You're not thinking! Di ko alam kong bob* ka o tanga!"
Nagkatinginan naman kaming tatlo nila Michael at Sariel.
The argument is clearly one sided. Caesar doesn't let Penelope talk and Penelope acting submissive means she genuinely felt bad about this.
"Who was it?" Tanong ko nang makitang tumalikod na si Caesar t tumungo sa di kalayuang pader.
Nakatingin parin si Penelope kay Caesar bago siya bumaling sa akin. Wala na ang Penelope na matapang ngayon, para na siyang maamong aso.
"I-I don't know..."
Tumango ako.
"This is bad." Sabi ni Sariel.
"I know." Pinindot ko ang laptop ko at hinarap ito sa kanya. "These are the profiles about the people who came to my naming day. Look into this."
Tumango naman siya at lumapit para kunin ang laptop. Bumaling naman ako kay Sariel at Michael.
"What did you got?"
Nilagay ni Sariel sa lamesa ang dala dalang briefcase na galing kay Caesar nang mabawi niya si Melvin at Piper.
It got a lock on it and a password that's why we need someone to open it and now they did it.
"This is a big help but considering that our father already know it's gone, he might find alternative plan."
