In this stage called The Veiling, the Contestants are going to be given a prompt and a theme that their stories have to be created with. The Judges are going to judge them based on many things, but majorly based on how well and creative they were in crafting a story that follows the prompt and theme assigned to them.

The Judgment in this stage is done by a collective jury procedure. This means that after the contestants submit their work and the Judges drop their reviews on their story, each judge will either vote a Yes or No for their work. There are five judges, so if the ratio of Yes to No(s) is in their favor, then the given contestant has earned a spot in the Green Line🟢. If the contestant happens to, unfortunately, earn more No(s) than Yes(s) from the Judges collectively, then, that means they will be fated to the Red Line🔴.

If you are new to the concept of Green Line and Red Line in Project Pen, it's simple: the Green Line is otherwise known as the Safe Zone, and any contestant in the Green Line automatically makes it to the next stage. It's like a clean ticket to the next stage.

However, the Red Line is the Danger Zone. Contestants who end up where are on the verge of getting evicted. It doesn't mean they will be evicted. It only means that they are treading on a thin line. Out of the Red Liners, that is where the Judges decide which of them will go home and which will be spared or get the Judges Vote of Mercy and be moved to the next stage of the contestants to join the Green Liners who were already there before them. For instance, if five people are to be evicted in a particular stage and there are ten Red Liners, that automatically means that five Red Liners will be spared while the remaining five will be evicted.

To add, the Judges have no idea who any of the contestants are. As the name of the stage implies, the contestants are veiled, via the rule of Anonymity. Only the moderators know their identity. So whatever judgment is given to a contestant by the Judges is free from partiality. The Judges just see the contestants as veiled/masked people, all going under the cover of a pen name. So, their judgment is completely without bias.

At the end of this stage, TWO CONTESTANTS WILL BE EVICTED.
