Blood, Gore, and Arson Warning

Smoke. I was coughing it up in my dreams. The realm of sleep becomes warm and more real with each passing second. I woke up just as I fell off the bed. My eyes were shot open to a very dark room. A room I recognized to be filled with smoke. I coughed my lungs out only to breathe in more of what suffocated my chest.
"Faceless!?" I cloaked out as I struggled to get onto my feet as the room began to spin. With each heavy footstep, I made the air more dark.
"Memory?!" I called out again as I felt my legs give out and stumbled to the ground. A loud thud went through my chest as my hyperventilating became more evident past the endless choking. A rush of pain overcame my body as I made it to the door frame and my body glitched in and out with the surface below me. The panic made me unable to hide the amount of pain I was in as my head screamed at me to breathe and stand.
Footsteps quickly made their way towards me. Hands gripped at mind as they helped pull me across the ground before getting on their knees. Faceless. They grabbed a cold rag and put it over my mouth as I struggled to breathe. They led me through the smoke of the home, but I am unsure of how or why so much smoke was in there...
Especially with the lack of flames in the cabin itself.
Faceless led me outside of the house where a dark grey fog surrounded us. The only light I could see was coming from within the forest. In the shadows of the smoke fog was dancing red and yellow lights. A heavy fire burning through every tree.
As I pressed the fabric closer to my mouth it felt my heart steady with my chest. The taste of smoke and ash never left my mouth. Faceless has no cover over their mouth-... because they don't have one. My eyes wandered around the smoke trying to find Memory.
"Memory?!" I called out again my voice muffled by the fabric. Faceless snaps their fingers once before I turn my head to look at them.
"They are at the ocean waiting for us. We are going to follow it until we get past the fire and out of the smoke." They signed to me. I looked back at the cabin they made together that would most certainly burn down from the flames coming this way. I lifted my hand as an offer to wait a moment for me. I went to the house and placed my hand on it, just as my fingers grazed a button over the house. Edit. I access the house and the wood around it. With a simple change in my code, I made it fireproof without a sinking feeling telling me otherwise. I felt my code glitch inside me. More prepared I managed to stay on my feet. I make my way back to Faceless soon after.
They tapped their feet as they waited for me. They grip my hand and lead me to the beachside where Memory was waiting for us. My chest felt tight from the thick smoke that made its way into the cloth. They also had a cloth around their mouth underneath the odd mask they wore.
"Sabre! Are you okay?! I woke up to find the place in smoke. Faceless didn't notice so I grabbed them first," He explains to me. I nodded.
"I'm okay! I just... this fire must have come from nowhere! There is no way the smoke could have gotten that heavy without us seeing it beforehand." I thought back before we rushed our pace to go away from the flames against the ocean. The smoke slowly got lighter the further away we walked. The sand sank on the weight of our feet. Moving made it hard. I paused once in a while holding my chest in pain. Faceless looks back at me before rushing over to me and helping me to move forward with Memory. He must have taken in less smoke than I did. Soon we found our way out of the smoke to see the sky covered in a red light above us. It was night... but flames were burning so brightly they covered the sky in a demonic light. It was as if an Aurora was shining above us.
