Chapter 14

The weather started getting warm and flowers bloomed all over the States welcoming summer along with Ace and Grace's wedding. The bride still remained confused about her feelings between the two men but still she decided to proceed with the wedding as many things are connected now because of their wedding, both the families have become more than in-laws. They are business partners now, and Grace cannot break the contract due to its rules and Ace won't let her break it otherwise he won't be able to become the CEO of his grandfather's company. But little did she know, her one sided love towards her fiance is getting deeper as each day passed. The bridesmaid with full excitement and cluelessness about their best friend's marriage contract continued preparing for her wedding and her bachelorette party as they knew Grace never got to live her life fully because of her family's pressure and expectations, so they want her to enjoy her special moment wholly. Ace being a focused and dedicated businessman himself focused on nothing but his work and as he got to know more about Grace, feelings started to flutter in his heart for her but he keeps on denying them by believing it is a marriage of convenience and nothing else then why was he jealous when he saw Grace with Noah and did a background search on him. And here Ace's enemies which reside in his home are planning something big for him.

Gold digger Amanda, cunning Zack, foolish Priscilla and blinded by love Blair are sitting in a lounge together and drinking the bitter alcohol to make their bitter life seem less bitter.

"That's it mom, I told you killing him was the better option."
Zack slammed his fist on the armrest and Amanda place her glass on the table, swallowing her wine she sat back comfortably before speaking.

"And it would also put us behind the bars, Zack. Let the wedding happen, I highly doubt they both are lovers. I can smell something fishy. We need to find out what's going on between these two first and think of removing his eligibility as the CEO."
She spoke.

"Grandfather is going to spend a fortune at his wedding and he doesn't even think a little for me."
Zack spoke.

"Then you should have done things to win his heart rather than sitting here and complaining."
Amanda side eyes him.

"They both met accidentally. They didn't know each other before the blind date. I am sure that sly witch would have seduce him."
Blair grinned her teeth in anger.

"How about getting her kidnapped?"
Priscilla spoke casually without looking up from her phone.

"Her family will definitely look for her if she gets kidnapped and the media will know about it too now that she is connected to the Kings."
Zack spoke denying her sister's stupid idea.

"She didn't seem on good terms with her family. She seems distant from them."
Amanda spoke.

"I heard from Amelia that her friends are planning her bachelorettes out of the state. If she goes missing their then it will be difficult to find her. Or we can just threaten her to break this engagement."
Priscilla spoke again.

"Out of D.C? Where?"
Zack questioned his sister and she just shrugged.

"That I don't know.."
She spoke casually and Zack rolled his eyes annoyed by her useless talks.

"While she is away, I can try and seduce Ace and make him fall in love in me. Then he won't marry her!"
Blair spoke with excitement only to hear Amanda and Zack scoff at her.

"He has never been serious with any girl and making him fall in love is completely impossible. He won't fall in love with anyone after knowing what his mother did to his father. You can only remain as his side chick for the rest of his life."
Amanda laughed.
