Chris: Last time on Total Drama Island, the teams were dissolved, leaving each and every camper to look out for number one. And just to add a little more drama to the mix, Izzy and Eva return for more fun.
Scenes flashed by from the last episode as the teams fully dissolved into the merge as Eva and Izzy were shown arriving back on the island.
Chris: The Code-meister decided to get his old Gopher buddies into a secret alliance to help the trio get further into the game. The campers were made to suffer all manner of abuse in the "no pain, no game" challenge. In an act of chivalry, Geoff stepped up to save his girl from the perils of the leech barrel. And in a deft display of log rolling, a grizzly got a piranha haircut winning Leshawna invincibility.
More scenes go by showing the events of the last challenge and Leshawna winning the first individual challenge and Cody, Jonathan and Trent forming their alliance.

It was a brand new morning on the island as things were surprisingly peaceful. The animals of the island were waking up as a bird flew by Leshawna's brand new trailer as it got near the door, only for it to get smacked against the trailer as a tired Leshawna opened the door to stretch and yawn.
Down by the docks, Trent was seen getting out of the water after a nice swim. Where he spots Gwen sitting over by under a tree with her sketch pad as Trent calls out to her.
Trent: Hey, beautiful, what you sketching?
Gwen: H-heh, nothing.

She shyly smiles before returning to her sketch of Trent as a camera appears behind her, looking down at the drawing before Gwen spots the camera with a frown and grabs it.
*Static*
Gwen: I absolutely, positively don't have a crush on Trent. I'm so over it.... I mean, come on, sure for a week or two I was into him but, I mean...
She stops talking as Gwen realizes she wasn't fooling anyone.

Jonathan was seen walking up the trail as he stretched with a soft smile before spotting Gwen. He approached her as he waved politely at his friend.
Jonathan: Mornin' Gwen. How's your day going?
Gwen: Oh, hey Jonathan...
Jonathan spots her sketch pad as Gwen quickly puts it away as the gentle giant raised an eyebrow confused before looking over at the docks, spotting Trent as he immediately put two and two together before sitting down next to Gwen.
