Rainbow Eyes and Pink Hair✩。:*•.───── ❁ ❁ ─────.•*:。✩
I decided to go out to the village every day to visit the Kamado siblings. They're such sweethearts, though Tanjiro acts a bit odd around me. I think nothing of iI.
Today, however, I got held up by another visit from Lord Agatsuma. He told me to just call me Zenitsu, and we took another walk in the garden. By the time I made it out to the village, it was getting pretty late. I decided to check if the Kamados were out, and I was surprised to see that they weren't. Nobody was out, actually.
When I started back to the castle, however, I heard voices. Yorrichi must've heard them, too, because he stepped in front of me protectively. He's a tall man, so I had to peek over his side to see who the voices belonged to.
"Hmm? Why did you follow me, Akaza-dono? Are you finally warming up to me?"
"In your dreams. I was sent out by Kibutsuji-sama to come get you. He hates when you want around, and you know that."
They were both men. One of them was tall, almost as tall as Yorrichi, with blonde hair and very pretty rainbow eyes. The other one was shorter, and he had fluffy pink hair, though I doubted it was his natural hair color.
"Oh, look, Akaza-dono! We have a stranger!" The blonde one said with a grin, showing off some unnaturally sharp canines.
"Huh? Isn't that Kokushibo?" The other one, 'Akaza,' asked.
"No, he's wearing different clothes, and he has a different birthmark. But they do look similar! Yoo-hoo! Who're you, pretty boy!"
Yorrichi didn't answer, instead reaching for the hilt of his sword.
"Oh, c'mon!" The blonde man pouted, "Don't you wanna talk?"
"Come on, Douma," Akaza grumbled.
"Leave, Princess," Yorrichi said, just loud enough for me to hear.
"But-" I started, but I was quickly cut off.
"Go!"
The way he shouted those words made me immediately want to obey them. So, I sprinted away from them and towards the castle.
"Huh? Where's Yorrichi?" Tengen, who was at the front doors, asked.
"He's still... in the village..." I said, taking breaths in between.
"Why?"
"We ran... ran into some people... I'm pretty sure they're from Kibutsuji's half..."
"Are you serious? But what would they be doing here?"
"I don't know..."
Without another word, I walked past him and into my bedroom. I shouldn't have even gone out. Why would the Kamados be out so late at night? Stupid, stupid!
I waited anxiously in my chambers, wondering if I would hear back from Yorrichi. He's strong, so those two shouldn't be a problem for him. After what felt like an eternity, I heard a knock at my door.
"Come in!"
It slid open, and, to my relief, I saw Yorrichi sitting on his knees, completely unharmed. I couldn't help but feel guilty for even dragging him into that mess into the first place, though he probably doesn't mind. Should I even go out anymore? With Kibutsuji's goons roaming around and all... It's dangerous... What are they doing over here anyway? That's... odd...

❥ Douma gets bored easily, so he frequently leaves Muzan's side of Japan, and Akaza's always the one stuck with bringing him back.
